Now known as INQB8, bunch of ********* people to work with if you ask me. When it comes to refunding your deposit they will nail you for anything and everything to take your money. And lets not even talk about their poor communication when it comes to disputing the deposit deductions. They only live for the owners, they dont give a damn about the tenants. Will NEVER work with that company again.

<div>If a minus 100 could be given we would. They dont load payment correctly on TPN system thus boikoting tenants to move to other apartments, therefore keeping tenants hostage in their managed properties. Their lack of professionalism had 4 people listed as PAID LATE on TPN system where a debit order was in place. They dont sent monthly statements, or update client's on time of rental increases therefore this action results in PAID LATE notices on TPN system. The arrogance of ***** who has left, **** on having coversations and correcting our data is shocking. Their lack of drive to get repairs done in their units is as bad, then again they dont live there, why should they worry. My recommendation to EAAB has included that they be scrapped as managing agents of any apartment and complex.</div>

When the check in inspection was done there was no electricity available for us to check any lights or extractor fan bulbs for that matter so they advised that we provide them with a list within 7 days of moving in so that we can report any issues. We reported it along with photo, video and email evidence which also provided to tell them that the extractive fan bulb was not working. Nobody came to fix it so when we moved out they still charged us for it which is extremely unfair as we reported it when we moved in within 7 days as they asked. Taylor wasn't any help at all and raised her voice at my husband when he said we are being unfairly charged.. We are very disappointed in Uvest and really didn't think they were one of the sneaky ones.

I have never had such incredibly terrible and inhuman service delivery. In February I moved into a property at Buh Rein Estate through Uvest during inspections maintenance issues were noted. Broken front door, leaks, electrical faults and more. Yet none of those issues where attended to. I had to run after Uvest to resolve the power issue, that went under the radar as they put it . Of which they sent a dodgy contractor ,that created a bigger mess from all the plug points not functioning .I now had no power at all.Their own contractor didn't even have their support numbers to contact in order to resolve this mess and I had to step in to make calls to resolve the electrical fault myself. I sent numerous emails and WhatsApp communications only to get excuse after excuse from Uvest . Till date no maintenance was done. The worst part was during winter storms, rains and worse a COVID19 crisis, I had to live with a flooded house because the front door couldn't be closed, living with a minor as a single mother in this state. I had to find ways to block the door with our suitcases. This from living in a so called sought after upmarket estate, yet the serve is equivalent to a squatter camp . The bath, sink, toilet and shower started blocking and still Uvest was no where to be seen. Nisha's excuse when I followed up on the matter was that she forgot. The email went under the radar. How convenient is this. This is because she is conveniently making sure she takes the rent ,yet I had sewerage coming through the shower and its okay to let my emails go through the radar. To the point that there was a fire and the unit is not conducive to live in. Its been close to 3weeks and still after continuously emails to Nisha she has no solution an. She has lied and said Uvest has no units available to transfer us to,yet has failed to explain why than Uvest has units advertised. On arrival after chasing them to come through to investigate , I was rudely told to empty my fridge and vacate the apartment by their maintenance guy. Rent has been taken though. No communication from their office, no solution offered. Instead I have to run after them . Her(Nisha) excuse of, I will call you in 10 minutes time from now, instead turned to 3days later and this was only after I sent her a harsh email . Oh but no that was the best phne call hey. Where this woman asked me but why can't I go live with family, why did I open the door, when I clearly explainedthat during the storm that door was blown open by the force of the winds ( Mind you a door that did not close in the first place and was and still is a safety hazard) She still had the audacity to ask me to come open the flat 2weeks after the incident to her maintenance team because they apparently had no spare keys available. On top of all that she instead sends me an email to say they have had access to the unit and see i have removed my furniture, what are my plans. And yet ignores all my questions about the lead time to investigate, ignores my questions about moving to another unit! WOW!!!!WOW!!!WOW!!!I'm sorry ,what are my plans? Should my furniture be left to rot in a place drenched with thick black smoke? I am beyond shocked . This service is beyond the worst service provided, especially because this service is related to basic human rights.

The property we live in has been sold without our knowledge. The property manager nor the previous landlord has given us any notice in writing notifying us of this. They did not even allow us the tenants a chance as first option to buy the property, according to rental rule. It all happened under our noses and we found this out the beginning of April 2019. No rules were followed. Our lease expires end 30 April 2019. The property manager emailed us on 3 April 2019, with the renewal costs. We accepted the new rental fee, in which she replied that she will email us the new lease agreement, the next day (4 April 2019). The morning of 9 April 2019 I called her (Nisha Witbooi-Langehoven) to ask when will she send the new contract, she said that the "new owner" still has not confirmed that he will renew the lease. The new owner??? How can a property be sold and carried over to new owner's name in a matter of days? And new owner desperately wants to re-sell, nothing makes any sense anymore. The evening of 9 April 2019 6pm, we receive an email from the property manager "notice to vacate the premises 30 April 2019, because the property is now sold. ***?? Our lease expires 30 April 2019, no one gave us any written notice that property is being sold. We suspect that the new owner knows that our contract expires and is deliberately ignoring us, to avoid any legal obligations. But that part, they are acting completely unlawfully. According to the law they had to give us 1 calendar month to vacate, which they did not. The law also state that they had to give us a 90day notice that the property is being sold we need to find new accommodation, which they did not. We are happy to say that we have logged our case with the rental tribunal, and that they cannot evict us without the tribunal's knowledge. In this case people, be aware , be very aware of Uvest Letting as property managers, acts criminal and don't give a damn about their tenants. Rather rent from an owner or find a reputable property manager other than Uvest Letting.

Hi We moved into Belladonna Estate in 2015 under the assumption of safe and secure as per their add, what a joke. When we arrived at the premises there was security to protect empty units, 6 months later they where gone, when asked about it we where told to hire our own. We will be moving out soon. They are really not a good place to rent from, we had break-ins last year and when we contacted them to report it their response was, sorry it happened to you, there was even a ****** in the complex. If you report maintenance issues they charge you for it, if you ask them something concerning the complex the response, will pass onto the Body Corp???????????????????? People need to be aware of what they getting themselves into when renting from Uvest. They really can't be bothered with anything concerning their rentals, but just be late in making a payment then they onto you with reminders and a fine for every day you late.
