I took out a personal loan with Candice Spencer at Nedbank. I'm very disappointed in her after service. I'm unable to open my statements I receive via SMS as I don't receive the Approve It message. I informed Candice of this hoping she would be able to assist me or at least direct my query to someone who would be able to assist me. But unfortunately she just curtly said that that's not something she can fix and that I should phone the call centre. Her email was short, curt, and unfriendly. Truly disappointed.
Yasmeen contacted me to ask if I wanted to upgrade my current contract to double minutes and double data. She didn't even give me a chance to speak and when I said I wasn't interested she got sarcastic and passive aggressive. Super unprofessional.

When the check in inspection was done there was no electricity available for us to check any lights or extractor fan bulbs for that matter so they advised that we provide them with a list within 7 days of moving in so that we can report any issues. We reported it along with photo, video and email evidence which also provided to tell them that the extractive fan bulb was not working. Nobody came to fix it so when we moved out they still charged us for it which is extremely unfair as we reported it when we moved in within 7 days as they asked. Taylor wasn't any help at all and raised her voice at my husband when he said we are being unfairly charged.. We are very disappointed in Uvest and really didn't think they were one of the sneaky ones.
The worst internet network ever, the network keeps dropping or completely shuts down randomly throughout the day and then again in the evenings. Literally paying a service for nothing.

Mpho was able to assist me in a matter of 24 hours via Facebook messenger which is exceptional! I didn't expect to receive such a fast response and solution. We live in a security complex with electric fencing, a remote controlled gate and CCTV cameras. A thief still managed to break into our flat while we were asleep and stole a bunch of valuables, we woke up feeling nauseous and extremely out of it that morning and realized something must have been sprayed in our home, the thief took valuable items in our bedroom which meant he was centimers from us. We immediately contacted police and opened a case that morning. We're still experiencing PTSD after the incident. Santam refused to pay out because there are no burglar bars at the kitchen window, we are tenants, living in a security complex, it's not like we can put up burglar bars with the snap of our fingers, we have no authority, we already asked the owner of the flat to insert burglar bars but the owner said he is no financial position to do so, so how is this in our control? Why are we paying for insurance? I am totally shocked and disappointed about the whole situation. Santam looks for reasons not to pay out, they've lost a client, but I can promise you they couldn't care less either. I guess it would be best to rather cancel all insurances and open a savings account and rather save money for horrible days like these because clearly insurances like Santam just want your money but never pays out. We are so relieved that we were not harmed in any way by the thief, we just really relied on Santam that they would do what insurance companies are supposed to in situations like these. Their clearly not an insurance company, their thiefs too.
