Based on recent customer reviews, Ver-tex Solutions is facing significant criticism around its debt collection practices. Customers consistently mention persistent calls to workplaces and family members, alleged POPIA violations through unauthorised sharing of personal information, and difficulties obtaining paid-up or settlement letters after accounts have been settled. A recurring theme involves disputes over unauthorised debit orders, prescribed debts being pursued, and inconsistent information from agents. While a rare positive mention highlights an individual consultant who delivered empathetic and persistent support, the overwhelming sentiment reflects frustration with compliance, communication, and service recovery.

I have had a credit repayment arrangement with Ver-Tex Solutions. I completed an SMS link with a Tyme bank details for the repayment on my pay day, the 5th of each month. It went off one month. Then it didn't. They called and resent the link and I completed it using my Capitec details because they pushed for a quick payment and it went off the 1st. In April, Ver-Tex processed both payments, but on Capitec it said subscription payment. I called Ver-Tex on 7 April and spoke to Lesego, and recorded the call where I told them to remove the Capitec details. I did not ask for a refund because there was less than the scheduled R200 as balance. They could not answer why it was noted as subscription fee. Lesego whom I spoke to at Ver-Tex on this date, said they cannot take more than the balance during the next transaction. So, in April Ver-Tex took R400 instead of R200 Neither Capitec nor Tyme can cancel the transactions because it's a vendor (Ver-Tex) issue, I spoke to both my banks. On 1 May, the full R200 went off Capitec even though I cancelled the Capitec link on 7 April with Lesego. Ver-Tex now owes me R48-odd. I called Capitec and Tyme and the only way to stop these payments is to cancel my cards, which I did, but now it is costing me R100 replacement fee for each card because of the fact that the CRM system of Ver-Tex doesn't work. I called Ver-Tex on 02 May and spoke to Daniel, Sienah, Sienah again who transferred me to her supervisor, Bella who then called me back. Ver-Tex says they only refund on Fridays which is not acceptable. It's not about the money, it's about the principle and that they so far overreach their authority. Even the one Ver-Tex agent said I should cancel my cards (can'trecall who, I'll have to go into my recordings, but it's during the 02 May calls). I am very careful with my cards and it's only with Ver-Tex that I have this issue. Even that agent could not tell me who will pay to replace my card for their incompetence. They can take my money on any day, but they're not refunding on any day except Fridays (and they have no refund policy, I checked). They were supposed to (1)cancel a bank details which was not done in terms of POPIA compliance (2)overcharged me and I have still not been contacted to arrange the refund and (3) I am entitled to a letter of settlement and confirmation that both my bank details has been removed in terms of the POPIA. It has not been done and no escalation feedback has been done. The creditor was Nedbank and I feel Nedbank should be aware of how collection agencies like Ver-Tex abuse their mandate. All calls were recorded from my side and Ver-Tex was made aware at the start of each call.

This company has been harassing me for the past 2 weeks. I’m not sure if my ex colleague put me as her next of kin. They’ve been calling me asking for her and I keep telling them that I haven’t seen or spoken to her in over 3 years. They call me 3 times a day and I keep asking them to remove my number from their database

Vertex consultants are harassing me every single day by calling more than 7 times to my workplace even when I gave them my personal number they hardly reach out. Even when I'm off, they call continuously regardless of being told that I'm not at work. This has caused trouble for me at work.

I app**** for a loan at capfin skipped a couple of months and now they handed over my account to Vet-Tex which is sending messages of my details including the balance and calling my colleagues from the 07th of March my colleague has been receiving this messages. I don't remember adding my colleagues number at alternative number as i didn't even save her number on my phone, how is the company protecting my information. They both not following POPI act, now everyone one should know what's happening on my life. They are not protecting customers information.

I am receiving calls at work regarding an ABSA loan. I have never even had an ABSA bank account let alone a loan. I asked for proof of this loan, proof cannot be provided. This so-called loan better be removed from my name, otherwise I will get my attorney involved. This is *****!!!
