Treatment that I received was so annoying. I came in for consultation and was referred to see a specialist and it was not loaded as I wasn't informed prior that I need to take the referral to reception to be loaded with my Medical aid. I was in so much pain. Spoke to my Medical Aid and I was given an option to request for an emergency authorization. I called the practice and they told me with so much confidence that they wont be able to make the call to the hospital because "they can't make outbound calls". Even though I explained my condition they had no care, empathy or whatsoever. I was told to send the referral or come back to the practice so it can be loaded. Then wait for authorization which will be approved within 2-3 working days. Stuff needs proper training on how to deal with patients in an emergency and provide accurate information. No apology, no thing. All I heard was how I was being blamed and excuses. I ended up going to casualty and paid money from my own pocket. Long story short, I am very disappointed.

On the 27th of February I went to Vilakazi health center, and to say I am disgusted by the service that I received would be an understatement. I saw the doctor that was hold the fort for Dr Amos which was fine he then referred me to the radiologist and when I went in before the Xrays were done I contacted my medical aid to find out if the Xrays would be covered or if the funds will be taken from my medical savings , I was told that it would go off from my medical savings, I then asked the radiologist how much they would cost if I was willing to pay cash his response was that they would cost me R500 if I was to pay cash. I then responded and said no if its R500 then I can afford to have that taken off my medical aid .Fast forward to the billing I get a statement from my medical Aid and they have billed me R2200 and I immediately call them (Dr Jeff Swartzberg and Dr Amos )rooms to find out how R500 that was communicated is now R2200 and the Thomas the radiologist told me that he meant to say R500 for each scan. So as a result of his omission I am out R1700 I would like to know who is at fault here for the omission because if they want me to go the legal route I will because this is just a matter of being taken for granted and someone being unprofessional when it comes to providing incorrect information had I been told from the get go that the fee is per scan I would have not done it and waited until I had R2000 to pay for them cash .I want my funds reversed back into my medical aid . Thomas to take responsibility for his omission or I will take this matter further and that is a promised. I am giving you 72hours for my matter to be resolved or I am taking action. what kind of service rendering is this? you scam people and think that is right you have chosen the wrong one to scam. my contact number is: 0713809989 Thembisile Masondo. I have wasted so much time, airtime being sent from pillar to post and promised call backs that are never returned. I will be sending this to the Ombudsman I am feed up of being taken advantage of.

I would like to thank the following people for the greatest service I have ever received Dr Amos, Dr Aubin,Phumzile Thabethe and Joy Mabasoand Duduzile Mkhushulwa. I went in there with high panics they stopped everything and made sure my daughters is well taken care off. They stitched up her face and we both felt so much love. They took 2 days of their time and made sure that we are taken off. Dr Amos went on to call me privately checking up and making arrangements to make sure all goes well. The appreciation and gratitude I have is beyond. Thank you family. They indeed my family. Much love and respect

I consulted with the Physiothe****** (Melba) at Vilakazi Healthcare centre and have recently had an encounter with the Occupational the****** (Nondumiso), where do I begin about how amazing these ladies are. They are very professional and friendly, they have a love for what they do and they do it so amazingly. They redefine the word job or work and turn it into doing what you love, the salary is just but a bonus.
