Good afternoon I would like to lodge a complain against Vimba as the termination was sent. I could not link the alarm to another service provider due to poor workmanship.

At Charlotte Maxeke hospital the Vimba security staff members are extremely rude to all visitors making them wait outside in the cold. They also abuse their powers, my tyre was clamped with no explanation as to why or who authorised the clamping. Supervisor on duty refused to talk to me. They also refuse to give any names when asked for witness statements for a minor car accident. They are very unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend them for any guarding or service provision.

I was scammed R3000.00 by 2 of their technicians "by the name of Issac" on the 21 March 2022. Mid April 2022 I got a call from their office and spoke to a guy by the name of Tsitetsi offering my their services for home security with response, I told him that I had already purchased their serivces, he's check on their system and only to discover that I'm not on database. I further escalated the matter to management Mr Moloi who I was told he's the CEO of the company which I doubt cause he's full of empty promises. Mr Moloi garanteed me that I will get my full refund from issac on the 20 May 2022 l which I'm still waiting on this day. I would like to info anyone or customers not to do business with this company.

I have a contract of 36 months with Vimba Security Services. Their alarm always does not have a signal, they have sent a technician which I had to pay extra for and still the alarm its not working. They promised to replace it with a new one at no extra cost but failed to do so. I pay my monthly subscription with no fail and this is type of service I get? I'm tired of complaining and nothing happens.AR80489

On the 7th August 2019 at 5h32 in the morning. I received a call from Vimba Security, notifying me that there was a break in at my house. By then I was already at work. I requested them to go and check and advice me as soon as they are done. I became very busy at work and I thought that Vimba has responded, and everything was fine. when I knock off from work. I arrived at home to an open burglar door, beams inside the house has been tempered with. I immediately called Vimba Security to find out who was scheduled to go and respond at my property because that person didn’t give me feedback. When I was in the house. I notice that most of my stuff was stolen, which are my clothes, jewellery, liquor. The toilet basin was damaged, and water was running all over the place. Food was also stolen, and my Persian rugs were both damaged by the water. I only got attention after I told them what had happened in the house. I was assisted by Thabang who was working night shift on the day. I had to release the guard because I wanted to sleep. The next morning. I called Vimba Security and spoke to Getrude who transferred me to her Manager Kgotso. The very same Kgotso who was not available to take calls on the 7th August. He promised to send out a Technician to fix the system. Kgotso came with Phila who was wearing Vimba Security uniform who also agreed that they are at fault Kgotso contacted the CEO of the Vimba and explained to him what happened, and he took responsibility to sort out all damages. Kgotso asked me to open a case which I did at our nearest Police Station at Protea Glen, Police Case number 145/8/2019. Which I forwarded to Kgotso. On the 12 August 2019, Kgotso send me a message requesting for costs and damages to the property. I responded that I will have to get Invoices from the shops where I bought my stuff. I will submit them as soon as I have all the invoices. On the 22nd August 2019 I took all the invoices to their offices and hand them to Kgotso. Kgotso promised to give me feedback on the 23rd August 2019. I highlighted my frustration and needed to speak to the CEO, but I was refused his contact and I was promised that the CEO will call me on the 26th August 2019. On Monday 26th August I contacted Kgosto who promised that the CEO will call me back. Around 9h09am the CEO called me. I highlighted my frustration and dissatisfaction and he started mentioning about the contract. In the afternoon, around 16h50 I contacted Kgotso who advised me that the matter is with their Legal Department. On the 27th August at 19h00 Kgotso send me a message to say that the Report is ready for collection and there is no compensation or replacement to all the goods that were stolen or damages to my property. He said that he will not be able to explain to me as everything is stated on the Report and there is nothing he can do. The CEO’s response was very vague, saying he does not know anything. I am not happy with their service, Vimba only calls when there is an Emergency. They don’t come to the property to view what is happening. They don’t give feedback, they don’t want to take responsibility of their security officers which are incompetent. I pay for security because I am always at work and there is no one at home. It is their responsibility to look after my property as I pay my subscription every month without fail. No one wants to take responsibility, I believe this was done by the very same security man. They are employing criminals and are protecting them with the client’s expense. Manager is Kgotso and cell number 084 507 1242 and the Vimba’s office number 011 403-6500. Please assist me by getting Vimba Security to take responsibility of all my loss and damages.

Vimba security company's service is very poor, Im very disappointed with regard to their service, since 2016 I installed an alarm system at my residence, the package includes armed response, SMS notification when you arm and disarm, but their SMS notification only works for few days, then after you don't receive any SMS notifications, I have been complaining since 2016 and they will fix the problem for few days, and again and again back to square one, Im sick and tired because I'm paying every month but I don't get the value of what Im paying for.

I had by to remove 3 men who came in to my yard and started bullying us. I called vimba at 8:05 am they came at 9:10 am. ....after being assisted by neighbours to remove the scam from my yard. Yhea soon much for armed response, none existent.

Vimba is a hoax, they are a shady security company. Someone jumped over my wall I called them twice to come and help and protect me twice they had no clue where their driver was. Their managers are never available. Stop giving this shady company your hard earned money, they are a scam, a hoax and have their hand in your pocket. They actually put you in danger because you think their armed response is for real and will put your faith in them and not arm yourself. Be warned!

Vimba is a hoax, they are a shady security company. Someone jumped over my wall I called them twice to come and help and protect me twice they had no clue where their driver was. Their managers are never available. Stop giving this shady company your hard earned money, they are a scam, a hoax and have their hand in your pocket. They actually put you in danger because you think their armed response is for real and will put your faith in them and not arm yourself. Be warned!
