I bought a hubble battery at kempston voltex in 2023. And was informed via the salesman that if anything happens and I need assistance in the future I don't need to worry. As long as I can provide them with a serial number they have everything on there system. Now 2026 we have a problem and voltex is not assisting at all. I have sent them the serial number. I have sent them the date and screenshot of my bankstankstate where I paid them. I was assaulted and ****** of my handbag and laptop in 2024 and cant provide any other paperwork. But if voltex has all the details on the system we can't they assist us. Now my daughter is sitting without a battery back up which is supposed to be a very good battery on the market. We paid over R31000 for the battery but no after sales assistance. Our money was good enough in 2023 but voltex warranty is worth 0. We even sent then the coca they requested

Bad service. Bought 2x inverters end of January. Only to find that 1x was not working. We returned it immediately. We are still waiting for a refund/replacement.

I was in the Pinetown area and decided to stop and purchase some electrical supplies. I made my purchase and went to the collection counter to pick up, press the bell to bring to the attention of staff that I am there to pick up my order. When I press the bell employees looked at me and did not respond so I waited for 15 minutes and nobody came so I went to the sales counter and asked to see the manager. The manager who was sitting in his office right in front of me all the time I was waiting came over. He asked a staff member to assist but I requested a refund and was refused because they had some story and said will deposit the money into my account the next day which did no happen. After many phone calls over a week I finally got my refund by a delivery driver to my house in cash. Promised myself never to go Voltex again.

voltex port elizabeth is super pathetic no sense of customer service at all doesnt answer their phones when you call, when you do get through and ask for sales then they say yes its sales, you then ask for something and they say oh please hold and just put you back on hold. incompetency at its best can not believe that voltex SA can allow one of their branches to operate like this....

Walking into this branch as a woman is a complete waste of time. The two men behind the counter are beyond useless. The first one sends you to the next guy, and the second is rude enough to openly complain, “Why are you sending her to me?” — as if helping a customer is some kind of personal inconvenience. Their entire attitude screams that they’re doing you a favour just by sitting there. No one gets up, no one offers assistance, no one even acknowledges you unless you go to them. It’s honestly disgusting. When I eventually walked out, saying, “It’s okay, you guys clearly don’t want to help me,” they didn’t even look bothered. That tells you everything you need to know about their so-called “customer service” — because there is none. How do you complain about service that doesn’t exist? Maybe the treatment is different if you’re a man or if you walk in already knowing exactly what you need. But as a woman simply asking for help? Don’t bother. I would HIGHLY NOT recommend Voltex Alberton to anyone. Absolutely pathetic service — or should I say, lack of service.

Atterbury branch is the worst. People rarely know what goes on in that store and they keep different business hours which makes shopping there a pain. Really closing at 12:00 on a Saturday. Just terrible

Voltex West Coast. Where do we begin here. Very I mean very *********** staff, especially the manager usually I know when I manager has a strong background in retail and this one by far is only a pickup along the way. I bought an invertor from Danzil in 2023 , i blew i did bring it back 2024 for warranty purposes as I collected it late 2024 it was a completely different device. I show the storeman who carried it to my vehicle at the time pick pre and post. Completely different. I try to explain and hopefully get my situation resolved from Anrich the "Branch Manager " he cant help every time I come there he runs to the office. This man clearly has no business etiquette. I stay 40+- km from Vredenburg to drive for this a couple of times was complete bull. I dont even know the guy but i can ensure you he have no papers to back that Branch Manager position. This happen almost a year yo date but I had to get it out here..

I returned it on 22 August 2025 and expected a simple exchange but was told by the manager that it is just under voltage and he will sort out the same day. I followed up later in day just to be told he is out of office and will return my call which he failed to do. I have send somebody there to physically follow-up and it turned out he was there all along. Now suddenly he cannot even guarantee that battery will be back by Monday. To note the invoice and website make mention of a walk-in warranty but seem this is worthless. To their credit the service and attitude of salesman was fine but his hands is tied by the manager.
