“I bought a VW TSi 2021 Comfortline as a demo in 2021. Initially, it gave me a problem with the horn. I sent it in for repair, and they told me it was still under warranty and fixed it. Then, the boot could not open, so I sent it in again, and they fixed it under warranty. Apparently, VW does occasionally has that problem For the third issue, I sent the car for service and was told everything was good. However, I started to notice that the front wheel was a bit worn off and didn't look like the other three tires. The brand of the worn-out tire was different, and I had never replaced a tire on this car. Unfortunately, while I was out of town, my wife had a flat tire on the same worn-out tire. The insurance advised her that the brakes were too old for the car considering the mileage. I visited VW Bethlehem to complain about the tire and brakes, and they said I'm a bad driver, which is why my tire and brakes are like that. I was thinking that I had just brought this car for service not too long ago, and their report didn't mention anything about the brakes or tires. Now they refuse to take responsibility, blaming me. I lodged a complaint with VW SA, but it's been two weeks, and I haven't received a response. The service has been terrible. To make matters worse, I have recently heard more horrifying stories about VW Bethlehem, including missing or replaced parts. I can't help but ask myself if I had known this, I would have never bought or serviced a car there. It's an absolute horror

My name is D.Sebogo and I own a VW polo TSI which I took in for first service service on the 13th of October 2022 to VW Bethlehem. The car was received and I was told to take a seat as my killos were higher than 15 000 which I did . I sat in the waiting room with no feed back from anyone as to whether my car was being serviced on not.I went multiple times to enquire as to what was going on to which one of the consultants told me that they will inform the person who was supposed to be assisting me to come to me at the waiting room ,to tell me what is going on . I waited and was only informed at arround 15:00 that my car had been serviced and it's gone for wash. No feed back was given to me about the state of my car ,or if it needs any repairs.all that happened is that I was given my car and told I could go... I was under the impression that I would get feed back via email.Till today no feedback , so I called vw.My main concern was the sound my car makes when I brake( it gives a squeaky sound when I apply my brakes)this was cause for concern for me.I called VW betlhehem as a result, spoke to the consultant and I'm baffled at her response to me,as it seems she can not even tell me whether my brake pads were checked !!!! I'm being told to drive back to Betlhehem to take the car back to VW for the brake pads to be checked....which was supposed to have been done when my car was there for service on the 13th of October 2022,today is the 31st of October 2022.How can my brake pads have finished in 2 weeks especially since I have driven my car a total of 7 times since I returned from service. For me to be expected to drive to Betlhehem again,I can not be taking off work every now and then for the same thing and pour petrol to drive to Betlhehem .I sent a complain to VW SA and no response. I'm very disappointed in VW Betlhehem ,so much so that my next car will not be from VW, would not recommend,VW Betlhehem to anyone!

If you want the worst experience, this is the place to go. Serviced my car and then it started misfiring! Kept calling to try and get assistance and they genuinely do not care! I regret taking my car there, and this was the last time.

VW Bethlehem always finds a way to always milk money out of me, this is a second incident. I took out an easy drive service plan which I paid for a prior year, only to find out when I got to the dealer on the day, my car could not be serviced, mind you I drove 60 odd k's to them, despite calling beforehand in confirmation of the service booking.

Terrible service received from salesmanager and they are part of vw Newcastle. They refused to sell me a vehicle because I was buying it cash. Falsely accused me and said I was working for a dealership.
