This company took over my credit life insurance from Yalu and since I re-financed my loan I have been struggling for months to get them to insure my loan at the higher amount. They seem to not be interested in my business at all.

Pathetic and unreachable.. Tried every means to get hold of them.. Yalu has moved accounts to them and I need to do a claim but now they just eat away at my funds for years but when we get retrenched they are unreachable.. This is robbery at first glance.. Absolutely disgusting..

Is a shame that there's still existing insurance company's like Meerkat, who take premiums off people working hard each every month. Then when you claim you realize your worst nightmare. If you are a special self-employed and insured by this company you really need to think about looking at your policy.I was told, they don't cover self-employed, while when I took the policy from Yalu it wasn't mentioned to me, on their terms and conditions. There don't care about your claim,it takes a month or over a month to answer your claim. They terminated my policy before there could even give me the feedback of my claim, just because I was filing a claim with them, Wish it was drama. Still not resolved. Then I'm called to ask for my premiums, wish I didn't cancel it. They did.. PLEASE CHECK YOUR POLICY, SPECIAL IF YOU WHERE INSURED BY YALU Before has there took all the clients and dumped them to this Meerkat company.

I had a credit life insurance with Yalu I switched from African Bank.They got liquidated and now Meerkat took over I informed them that the company I work for got liquidated and sent through all relevant documents. Now that its time to settle my account with african bank I am told that my policy has lapsed due to nonpayment of premiums. Yalu had a catch all benefit where they will cover u for what ur current credit life covered u on. Now African bank doesn't take premiums when you are unemployed. I want to knw why is my acciunt not settled

A very useful credit life policy that pays you part of your premiums. It is also cheaper than your standard policies. The staff are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. They are very patient in listening to your requirements

An Insurance Company called me today. They are called YALU and I am not familiar with it.The more I told them I can not speak the more they pushed me to answer questions. I did not really have time to rethink their proposal. It makes me feel unsafe. That is credit protection The policy number is YL-3EYWB. FSP 48495. I need to know whether it is a scam or a safe company . I am highly upset the way they handled it. Thank you .Retha Fourie (SMJ)
