I cannot check my data balance on YelloData's website. I have already reported the issue in March 2020 and received an answering email to say that my ticket 348987 has been resolved. If not, I could reply to their email to let them know. Which I did. I am still waiting for the problem to be resolved and reported it again today.

I was called by yellodata with a promotion to get data at a much lower price. We then started to complete the sign up process but during the process i then decided not to take it and told the genlteman helping me that i do not want the product and he should not continue. He said okay he will not continue as we did not finish the sign up. Come month end i receive a debit order for yello data, i quried it a couple of days later and they told me i had signed up for it, I then told them that I had changed my mind during the sign up process and that I had opted not to take out the product. I aslo informed them that I had not received any of their products. I then proceeded to go to my bank to put a stop on this debit and a reversal. I also told them to take my details off their system as I was not their client. They informed me that my details were taken off their system and that the service was suspended. the following month another debit order came and i went through the entire process again. the debit then stopped for the past 2-3 months then again at the end of this month another debit form Yellodata. I have called them again and they informed me that the service is suspended and I should not be debited. I asked to talk to a supervisor and I have been told he is in a meeting and that I should call them back in an hour which would be after 5pm (after working hours). Yellodata is debiting my accont for no reason as they have confirmed themselves that I do NOT have a service with them.

MTN is losing serious dredibility with this Yellodata group. I canceled my subscription in November last year (2016). They have been debiting my account ever since. Seriously disappointed. I sent emails etc., but they give me endless stories. Spent endless periods on the phone. First, they want bank statements. I sent them the internet statements, but they respond by requesting scanned copies. Now I need to run around because they are an incompetent bunch?

At the end of the day, they should have this detail on their database. I am angered to the extent that I don't want anything to do with MTN again. I have been with MTN since 2006, but the end is near (regarding my relationship with them). At least 3 contracts to be lost and every person I can tell about how useless MTN is, will hear about their incompetence.

They cannot even communicate (but they are a communications company). It may only be R59, but the principle remains. It upsets me greatly.

These people sold me a R99 package after 1 month they debited my acc with R546 then told me I used more than the 1 GIG. I have my phone set and no way I can use data after the setting. Anyway I cancelled immediatly. The next month they debited my account again with R478. Please take note I deactivated Yellodata completely on my side. I called again. This time for a whole 3 weeks they had system problems. 3 months after the cancelation they call me to sell me the same excrement bac****!!!!!!! Thinking it is all done deal dusted they debit my account again with R99 and now again 4 Months later with another R99.

Now section 62 of the Consumer Protection act allows me to take this to the higest powers in our Country and I can claim Millions in damage as this is fraudulent acctivity. They also record the calls so there is proof that I have made seveveral attempts to cancel their services. I have recordings from my side to proof that I have made those calls.

Yellowdata steals from their customers. Be worned. They are busy with huge fraud and please people read about section 62 of the consumer protection act. We have a right here to claim for millions in damage. I advice and ask that others please contact me private so I can help you with your claims against them.

Yellowdata is wrotten thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Yello Data service has been deducting a lot of money from my account. At first I never complained because I thught I perhaps used that much. In May they deducted from my account twice. on 30th May they took R450.50 and on 31st May they took R401.50. When I called them, agent told she cannot see anything with payment related and I must submit the proof of my bank statement for me to get my money back. A process that take about 5 working days researching and 21 working days to get it back. I told them to cancel it and I still waiting for the SMS confirmation. I want my money back now.
