Yemaya Sea Point worst eye lash extension treatment ever. The lady was very rough and brutal. The more I said she was hurting me, the worse it got. The experience was painful and very unpleasant. She left visible gaps and when I pointed it out, she got annoyed. My eyes were burning so badly that I couldn't open them for a very long while. And they still billed me. I was visibly in pain and even though they offered to help me and remove the lashes , I wanted to get out of their as fast as I could. Don't ever have your lashes done there. I am bitterly disappointed.

I booked a 60-minute Dermalogica facial specifically for my sensitive, medicated skin, but the experience was not as expected. The the****** was really sweet at first and i felt comfortable going in. However, the treatment ended after just 30 minutes, and I noticed that a harsher, generic product range was used instead of Dermalogica. When I queried the treatment, the the****** falsely claimed the receptionist had booked the wrong treatment, even though my booking was confirmed correctly. As I came out of the treatment room, I overheard her asking the receptionist to change the booking to match what she had done and to remove my initial correct booking. She also claimed that the facial she performed was their "usual facial," but it wasn’t even listed on their treatment menu and as a result she seemed to make up and discuss the new cost with the receptionist on the spot. The service was unhelpful, dishonest, and left my skin worse off. Incredibly disappointed, would not recomend.

had my nails done at Yemaya Spa & Hair Salon, and the nail technician did an excellent job. However, I was disappointed with the receptionist's lack of transparency. My friend had already paid, including a large tip, but I wasn’t informed and ended up tipping again. This felt ********* and left a bad impression despite the quality service.

Do NOT go here. Their sunbed does not go for maintenance. I went for their sunbed and I got a blotchy uneven tan. I contacted the owner who showed no remorse, no apology and was just plain out rude. Save yourself money and trauma and stay away from this place. I can only imagine how bad the rest of their services must be.

I have tried resolving this issue on multiple platforms but have yet to hear back. My boyfriend and I had a very disappointing experience at Yemaya Kloof Street. I called earlier in the morning to book a pedicure for the both of us. I managed to get a 13:45 appointment. During the call when the appointment was being made, I asked if we could use the entertainer app. The lady who was assisting me confirmed we could. I then asked for a quote on how much our pedicure would be. She, and another lady who completed our booking confirmed the pedicure would be R290. Once we had finished our pedicure we went to pay at the counter where we were charged R400 for the pedicure. I mentioned that we were quoted R290 when making the appointment but the lady at the till insisted that the pedicure on the entertainer app cost R400. This really upset me as I made a conscious effort to ask what the price would be before confirming the appointment. There is only one pedicure offered by Yemaya Kloof Street on the entertainer app. The ladies booking my appointment knew I had intention on using the app and thus should have quoted me correctly. We are very disappointed.

I visited the yamaya spa today in cape Town for my 2nd anniversary. My husband and I was robbed of R1600 by the actual owner. She does not know how to read an invoice correctly or how to add and subtract. She really runied our day. We are from Durban taking a short holiday in cape Town and this was not a good experience at all.. Her staff on the other hand are angels they are absolutely professional and know their job however I can't say the same for the owners Because this is such an expensive spa most people will just swipe their cards on be on their way without questioning the bill (this is also my husband) but I urge all customers to check your bill before paying!

Purchased a voucher on wikideals. It seems most businesses who offer vouchers on wikideals barely deliver quality service or offer what is stated on the vouchers. Why in struggling hospitality times would businesses not strive to be THE best?? Arrived at the spa 51 on orange in Cape Town. Was seated and told to wait, the voucher included a welcome drink..... we had to ask for it. We waited 30 minutes, they were late. This is what we paid for: Luxury Couples Spa Package Includes: 2 x Cinnamon-infused Tea or CBD-infused Tea on Arrival - did not receive, only got a glass of water when we had to ask for it. 2 x Luxury Swedish or CBD Back of Body Massages 2 x Deep Relaxation Head Massages 2 x Foot Rituals: Invigorating Foot Massage Use of Sauna, Steam Room and Indoor Pool - was not offered or advised We received a full body massage which was not even close to Swedish, relaxing or invigorating. It was barely a rub down. Spent more time lying face down than up. No pressure points, no muscle release. Today I am sore and stiff. When I asked if they knew what treatment I purchased, they said no. We were taken to the dressing rooms, I had a bag. Once in the dressing room they had to go search for a gown, brought me a real small one when they can see I am plus size. My partner also received a real small gown but at least were offered a locker key to store items in. Immediately after our massages we were pitched the sale of goods, creams and oils which I was not impressed with, I did place an order and asked the lady to also bring some fresh towels so we could shower and wash the oil off. Waited 15min and she did not come, had to go out into the lobby with my hair a mess and full of oil in a too-small gown to get someone to bring towels. The treatment rooms are based around the communal area so you hear all the noise and people talking and must walk past people when you are covered in barely a towel and your hair knotted and messy. No one brought the items I ordered which they pitched so hard for. The staff really did not care for the clients and stood around on their phones in open view without a care in the world. The feeling I got is that the staff did not only not care, but they were disorganised and also not well trained in massages or client services. It was our anniversary and honestly such an anti-climax. I made it well known to the spa that it was a special occasion.
