absolutely disgusting insurance,no one should ever take this insurance i had an accident in december 2024 even now i am carless.they are holding my car not stating if they approve my claim or not.i was assisted by a lady called zelna wasserman..a person who works under supervision,the worst.they always come with excuses about waiting same documents over and over again.stay away from those people

This is the worse insurance ever. I never missed a payment, used my car like twice to drive to court as I was going to work from there for the day. Had an accident, they wrote the car off, sent a loss adjudicator who **** and said I said I frequently drive around like an errand boy with the car for business purposes and they rejected the claim. They just couldn’t find any other excuse not to pay, they decided to use this dumb excuse. If I choose to drive to a meeting with my car, BECAUSE I HAVE A CAR, instead of taking a taxi - that’s is personal use and convenience for me. I bought a car for a reason. To make my life easy. Do not choose these ****mers.

This is the worse insurance ever. I never missed a payment, used my car like twice to drive to court as I was going to work from there for the day. Had an accident on the 20th of August, till today the 19th of September my claim hasn't been processed. The car was written off . A loss adjuster was sent through to investigate, now apparently they have to appoint another expert because " they didn't find what they were looking for" and I have never intentionally missed even a single payment. I don't have a car and I am struggling to travel to and from work, yet I paid the insurance for my convenience and still have to pay for a car that is not there anymore, because their experts are ***********. I would advise no one to even try this sham of an insurer, I am shocked and appalled by how I am being treated.

Affinity underwriting managers are a ****. I insured my vehicle with them, had an accident on my sun roof. They rejected my claim with a lousy rejection letter. No courtesy call to advise of the rejection and explain the reason for the rejection. I was rejected because I did not specify that my vehicle has a sunroof. I requested for the sales call, was given the run arounds until they eventually decided to send me an incomplete call. Little do they know I was recording the call on my end and have the complete call. On that sales call the agent advised me that any or all the factory fitted accessories will be covered therefore I need not specify them. I was also told that I need not take my vehicle for inspection as it was brand new and therefore there was no need for an inspection to be conducted. It is apparent that the agent gave me misleading information as she blatantly stated that all the factory fitted accessories will be covered for on the policy. The sunroof was factory fitted from VW therefore why is my claim being rejected? These people do not know what TCF is. They're complaints process is **********, we are directed to use links to follow the process but when you do so the links gives errors. They are too quick too take people's money but when its time to render the services they duck and dive and give you the run arounds. They take advantage of the people who are clueless about insurance. I would never these underwriters to anyone, they are big ******. I need someone to contact me to discuss a way forward regarding my claim as I will not be letting go without a fight. I'm also sending a complaint to the ombudsman as well as the national consumer protector.

Do not use this company if you would like customer service, ass these people are just here to take take take, they never answer the phones and once you get through to someone on the phone they are not interested in helping you ( I phoned them 6 times in total 4 times on the 28th of march, once on the 29th of march and another time on the 1st of April) only one of these calls where answered and they told me that I need to send an email to cancel my policy and that email does not exist. I am forced to contact my bank to stop payments to them as a result it will destroy my credit score but they leave me with no choice, I really hope that anyone reading this do decide to leave this company alone as they are useless and just stealing money from us, My previous car left me on the side of the road I spent 4+ hours waiting for roadside assist from them and when they arrived I had to pay all of the expenses including the accommodation and then I had to request a claim form and do a ton of paperwork just to get R500 + R500 back after paying roughly R 4000 (excluding the 500km to back to my house and excluding the repair costs) it was not worth the hassle just to get R1000 back if they would even approve it... (I use King Price for my new car and they are on top of every situation, send them an enquire email on their website and see how quick they respond, (I sent them a email this past Sunday and they phoned me back within 2 hours to resolve my problem, Not bad for a non-working day). Best of Luck should you choose to use Affinity.

after rejecting my claim ( reason information not given), they can't explain in details what information was not given. Brandon Olinger just reply with the same rejection letter. i need to know what information was not given so i can provide them but that Brandon see a chance to just play games. i do not even have my policy copy from Argo brokers (Nadia Hermann) she is still listen to our call form the 15TH February 2022 until today but Brandon can quote from that policy. everything is just a scam

affinity is run by heartless people, i got my back from mandos (storage for my car after paid them R7800) after affinity rejected my claim. all the tyres have holes, for a car that was driving all the times without even a small puncture. people must watch out of those criminals called affinity, they will suck you dry even when they defeated they will still rubber your wounds with chillies. they are not an insurance but crooks.

They took my car to their associate Mandos holdings for storage, Mandos charged me a realise fee R7800, i paid the amount and sent them the proof of payment, after five days mandos are saying they're waiting for the money to clear. Argo brokers, my car insurance broker are not giving me the policy copy which we revised November 2021 before accident with a lady called Nadia from argo brokers, she keeps telling me she sent it, reason why i don't get it sooner it is because their emails are very slow. (Fat lie) All i can say affinity is the master mind of this syndicate crime, since they're the one rejected my claim then they don't bring my car back and they claiming i didn't give the information. Don't want to disclose what information they looking for. Meaning affinity stole my car, because they sent a lady to come and take the proof of ownership while they were still accessing my claim and now they telling my me about mandos instead of bringing my belongs back.
