First up airManaged has changed their name to Propr. What a bad experience. They advertise units for rent on AirBnB and act as the host. We booked a unit in Blouberg Cape Town for 7 nights. 56 Coral Rd, Table View, Cape Town advertised as "Spacious and Stylish / Pool Access / DSTV" Ad on AirBnB looks great. Lovely photos and good reviews so we made and paid for the reservation in full. On arrival we found the following: Oven door falls off when you open the door. Stove top burnt with thing black carbon stuck to the stove. Open electrical wires Foot prints against the walls opposite the TV. Cigarette burns on furniture and floor. Dirty walls allover the apartment. Dirty floors. Open drains. We immediatelly made contact with the host through the lady that opened up for us and requested cancellation and a refund. We were directed to AirBnB's app to do the cancellation. We however only received R2800 of a R8900 booking. On cancellation they sent us a message to say Propr (airManaged) will request the balance from AirBnB. Today is 15 days since our cancellation without full refund yet. Spoke to AirBnB today and they informed us that Propr never lodged a case on the resolution app. I would like to know how does units like this end up on AirBnB. Totally not what is advertised. I urge all AirBnB users that book in Cape Town to NOT make use if it is hosted by Propr or airManaged. Look out for a FaceBook page we will host with our experience.

AirManaged has changed it's name to Propr. A caution to property owners thinking of using them. They don't seem to have a control on who they're renting the properties they manage to. I live in a small apartment block which has a property managed by Propr / Airmanaged in it. They have rented the apartment opposite me to sketchy guests. There are suspect goings on in the apartment, with unauthorised people gaining access to the building & cars parked illegally around the building. I have made a complaint to the owners of the apartment as well as Propr, but they claim they can't reach the guests to speak to them, as the people staying in the apartment aren't the people who they actually rented the property to. Be careful who you entrust your property to, to manage - you put your property, as well as the safety of others living in the block at risk, when you don't manage the process properly.

Found a place of theirs on Booking.com, Four Seasons 806 - and it was not like the pictures. It had broken furniture and tiles, it was dirty and unhygienic. During the COVID pandemic! I asked for a refund as the reality does not match the pictures and they patronizingly told me they'd send someone to clean. Amazing! I want my money back. 18 Night stay, R7000, is not small money.

I checked into an apartment being managed by Airmanaged on sunday, being 202 Cape Royale. The property is advertised as 4 star, but is anything but 4 stars. Took them 4 days to send someone just to check out the complaints. I was ignored for the first 4 days and subjected to dishonesty. Today's the fifth day of sleeping on the most uncomfortable mattress ever, paying 4 star prices. I'll never stay somewhere being managed by Airmanaged again. Avoid 202 Cape Royale

Won't recommend. the pictures are deceiving and the unit is half the size compared to the advert. The unit does not come with dstv or other accessories during your stay. Not enough towels, and many other small requirements not included. You can't get access to the gym on the property. Just feels like a 'don't care' host. The issue is that this is managed by a company, contracted by a property manager, allocated by the owner. Too many strings, too many gaps, no solutions to issues. Rather book with owners or lesser string of people.
