Rentals.com my worst experience My name is Tsholofelo Catherine Mpete from South Africa. I made an online booking from rentals.com. Paid R2075.00 with my Visa card and was confirmed with an email. Ref 717772117, same day booking collection time was 16:00 pm. I arrived at 15:40 at my location on the 26th November, pick up point 138, Rivonia Road, Sandown, Santon, South Africa, 2196. Wasted a trip - NO CAR!!! As soon as an agent tried to assist me, they notified me that they cannot confirm my booking due to my debit card not being accepted. I understood this and asked the agent for advice. He suggested that I call 0214277934 to speak to rentals.com as they have my booking moved to another company which can accept my card. My issue was dealing with the lady on the call from your services. She was so rude and did not explain patiently as I was panicking to make my destination on time. She asked to verify or confirm that I was at the pick-up point. Took the guys name (the agent) then she advised that she will need to make another booking for me i will have to pay for it then the other one will be refunded. I agreed, then the story changed when she was advising me about a two days refund. I said i need a car, then she says well i cant find a company willing to assist you with a debit card. The agent was nice enough to give a list of companies who are willing to assist. She declined and insisted she was going to cancel and wanted my confirmation. I refused and hung up the phone this was around 17:40pm two hours later i am still desperate. So the agent advised me to go to OR Tambo where the lady was meant to book for me, i paid another R150 to reach the place. Then paid R8396 at Europa car which she confirmed that they don't accept debit cards. This service was terrible. I have never been so humiliated to tell my boss that I arrived at my booking only at 23:00pm. Also paid R300 to the guest house for arriving late. It was risky and overwhelming. now the i am told my refund will only be r 830.31 WHEN I PAID A BOOKING R2075,78 Thank you. Tsholofelo Catherine Mpete

I made a reservation through Airport Rentals on 23 September 2020. The full amount was deducted from my credit card. At the airport I collected a car from Avis/Budget. A few days after the vehicle was returned another amount for rental, fuel, etc was debited from my credit card. When I looked at the invoice it was not the same return date or the same vehicle. Budget/Avis are not assisting. How do I get my money back? I will NEVER use Airport Rentals, Budget or Avis ever again

I made a reservation through Airport Rentals on 23 September 2020. The full amount was deducted from my credit card. At the airport I collected a car from Avis/Budget. A few days after the vehicle was returned another amount for rental, fuel, etc was debited from my credit card. When I looked at the invoice it was not the same return date or the same vehicle. I rented a car through Airport Rentals.com in December 2019, they rented and reserved a car for me from Woodford Car Hire. According to their reservation note all damages and theft was included in the car rental price! After the December holiday, their was scratches on the bumper. The reservation note received after the booking was clearly false advertising!! They subtracted an additional R21 000 from my Credit Card!! They did this without my consent, without warning me, without asking me - and obviously their Reservation note was falsified or they just blatantly abused my credit card information and stole from my credit card!!!!! I have been trying to get this sorted for 4 months now!!!!

This company SUCKS They illegally get hold of your e mail address the harrass you with their adds. They have NO unsubscribe option and IGNORE ALL E MAILS TO REMOVE YOUR ADDRESS FROM THEIR LIST AND THEY ARE PESTING YOU ....THEY HAVE NO RESPECT for your PRIVACY. I will N E V E R use them. I booked a vehicle online through their website. They debited my credit card immediately with an amount of R3922.08 for a rental. When I arrived to collect the vehicle from Herz, a young man indicated to me that they were having trouble with the company which had not made a booking for me. I had to book from another supplier at the Oliver Tambo Airport. It has been over 2 and a half months since then and they have not yet refunded me as they promised to do.
