Definitley not the Company they used to be!!!
When I chose them for the initial installation they delivered on every level. I recently got them back to service the shutters and the experience was so bad that I wanted to mention they are definitley not the same co anymore. Not sure if there are new owners or what has happened. The stars are for the guys who came out and did the actual servicing, they were amazing, they get 5 stars. Dealing with the admin at the Co gets zero.

After-sales service non-existent
<div>So American Shutters installed shutters in my home. Some screws have fallen out and gone missing. Karen at American Shutters is unwilling to assist in providing parts to ensure these shutters continue to keep my home secure, as they 'no longer install this specific product' and told me that I must contact Shutter Supreme, their competitor, to get the spares myself. My suggestion - don't waste your time or money on American Shutters! If they change their product offering they will no longer be willing to repair damaged product and you will need to find spares and be willing to fix it yourself! Their after sales service is non-existent.</div>

Excellent experience.
I chose Amercian Shutters out of a wide array of suppliers for aluminum shutter doors. The product is excellent. The installer team were particaticularly worth mentioning. Rudolph and Abraham were meticulous, methodical and cleaned up every step of the way. Even arrived and completed earlier than expected. I cannot fault every aspect of the process from quoting to installation.

Excellent experience.

Somewhere on a ship
I asked a personal friend of mine who is in the interior decorating business to assist in organizing some blinds for my bedroom. She suggested that I use the services of American Shutters since their quality is very good. I was asked to pay 50% deposit which I duly did. A month later a requested an update and my friend forwarded the SMS she received from Melinda Roberts in Randburg where she placed the order, saying that their lead time is between 30-40 working days which was not shared with me. They are unable to provide me with a definite installation date as the blinds are apparently somewhere on a ship. All I get is empty promises that they will get back to me. I decided to involve the CEO (Duncan Snyman) with little to no success. I have not signed any documentation and am told I cannot cancel the order and that it is manufactured and already on its way to South Africa. The order is custom made for your requirements and sizes so we cannot resell it to other clients. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS IN WRITING. LESSON LEARNT!

Amazing product and excellent service
