Both my dogs ate something dodge and were very ill so the vet visit was inevitable. Quite a hefty bill :(. I submitted online to Dotsure the moment I got home, and I was reimbursed for almost the total bill within about two hours. Couldn't believe it. Plus there were very sweet get well messages sent to both my boys. Lovely touch. More than happy to highly recommend pet cover with Dotsure.
I have an old decoder and I keep on getting an E102-29 message "This decoder is a PVR. If you upgrade your subscription you will be able to enjoy all the PVR features available. Please phone your nearest Multichoice Call Centre or visit.....". I called and advised that I do not wish to upgrade or use the PVR features and to stop the pop up message which is obstructing my viewing pleasure. I was outrightly advised that unless I upgrade the message will keep on coming up. THIS IS A FORCED UPGRADE PURCHASE STRATETY. DSTV is preventing the enjoyment of the service that I am paying for by obstructing the visuals literally every few minutes. Surely this is not acceptable trading practice! Disgusting practice.
I chose Amercian Shutters out of a wide array of suppliers for aluminum shutter doors. The product is excellent. The installer team were particaticularly worth mentioning. Rudolph and Abraham were meticulous, methodical and cleaned up every step of the way. Even arrived and completed earlier than expected. I cannot fault every aspect of the process from quoting to installation.
I placed an order for new slip covers for a suite I bought from them. I had to chase for the quote and then made the mistake of paying via their online system. Two weeks later I still have no answers from Kramerville on when my payment has disappeared to and - just a constant repeat that once they manage to find the payment I mustn’t forget that it will be 12 weeks! Never told me I need to wait for 3 months for Covers ! Whatever you do don’t use their online payment system because it is then impossible to claw back the payment via your bank. And also make sure that you get absolute clarity on the process and delivery timing. Zero customer support and now I’m trying to cancel the order and just get my money back! So sad. A very different company to the one I have bought so much from.
Highly professional team, neat, knowledgeable and went about their business quietly. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.
Rivonia Tailors have been around for ages. They have recently moved to Rivonia Boulevard next to Seattle Coffee - near Rivonia School. This is a family business - always friendly, personal service and very reasonable costs. They also now offer dry cleaning. Please support them - really great service.
Banks are banks are banks and I have worked with them all! FNB shines out though. I use them for both personal and business banking and even though they still mess up every now and then - at least they respond to my social media rants! I love their app and their forward thinking. I think they are being a bit slow on the Covid19 impact support side - and I'm hoping they step up. I think in-branch staff knowledge is still a bit shaky - I've had both good and bad experiences. Overall though a much better calibre of help than other bank brands. But for the rest - the best.
I have used Morningside Plumbers for years and they truly offer great, personalised service. Their call out report/status system is state of the art tech. Their field team are knowledgable and friendly. I've had a two instances where the problem wasn't fully resolved and they were back within a day to fix the problem - no argument, no charge. They aren't the cheapest, but offer good value.
I ordered a winged make up mirror off the Makro website on 24 November 2019. It arrived efficiently 2 days later. For the record it was not available in store - which is where I tried to get it first. It took me only moments to decide to return it because the colour and finish of the item was a disgusting, cheap pink colour and nothing like the website presentation of the item. I immediately began the process of liaising with the Makro online/ customer care call centre to arrange for the return pick up and credit. The most efficient follow up has been the call center phoning to find out if my item has been DELIVERED yet? I explain the situation each time, receive apologies and have been told more than once that this will be "escalated". The latest series of mails have served to pass the buck to some invisible 3rd party service provider (so now Makro is passing the buck to a 3rd party that they have allowed to abuse their own brand name with inferior product and refusal to take back items) - and have said the 3rd party require photographs to prove that "they can resell the product"! So now I have to take photos! It is like the dark ages of on-line selling! I have also been told that the 3rd party only reopen on 15 January 2020 - so I guess I have to then be patient! I have suggest to Makro that they, firstly, cease to offer on-line selling as they evidently do not have the capability and that they allow me to take the item in question back to my nearest physical Makro store for a full, immediate credit. They have not taken up either suggestion! I obviously have recourse via my bank to reverse the charge and to take this to the Consumer Council - but once again time consuming and the cause of great irritation. My only advise to you is DO NOT under any circumstances buy online from Makro. Fantastic physical stores (which I will continue to support) but they can't do online.
I had to replace 2 very expensive tyres - thanks to yet another pothole. I left my car with Supa Quick and returned at the agreed time. When I arrived my car was still where I had driven it in - new tyres fitted but it had not been for alignment yet. I asked the fitter what the delay was - he said I had not left my keys - which I had - there had been miscommunication between the sales person I had dealt with and the fitter. I asked the fitter how long it would take - the response about 15 minutes. Out the corner of my eye I noticed the fitter take my car around to the alignment area. The sales guy approached him - they spoke and the next thing the fitter drives the car back to me. I walked up to the sales guy who was still on the floor with the fitter and asked if the tyres had been aligned to which they both said they had. In no uncertain terms told both of them what I thought of their blatant lie - insisted they take the car which had just been driven on to the alignment rig off and to do my car immediately while I waited and watched. No apologies - just a shrug of the shoulders. DONT use this company unless you can stand and watch every move from Supa Sly!
