14 minutes ago Audiolens Cavendish - snake-oil salesman, ripping me off for 8 passport photo's when NONE is needed if you go directly to the Department of Home Affairs (DHA ) to apply for a passport either on (1) issue or a renewal application . Yet (2) two different staff at the Cavendish store this past Friday- told me that 2 photos is required, ( I enquired in person before having the photos taken). Then I went to the Department of Affairs (DHA) in Wynberg with my photos taken at Audiolens, and they don't require you to provide already taken passport photos - as it's already priced into your R600 -being the cost of passport- which covers biometrics and photos at the DHA. How many unsuspecting customers have you sold this LIES too! Audiolens, you lost your brand integrity for R80. Shame on the 2 staff () baiting me for R80 _!!

I was looking to purchase a GoPro and went to one of the stores in the Waterfront in Cape Town. The salesman convinced me that the GoPro 6 was what I needed to purchase at about R6 000.00, however they did not have a SD card. They told me to go to Audio Lens to get one. When I went there the owner Harry, I did not know at the time who he was, asked me what I was looking for. I explained to him what I needed and what for. He asked me a few questions and told me that the GoPro I was looking at was totally unnecessary for my needs and showed me another unit at about R3 500.00 that was perfect. He did have the GoPro I was looking at originally and at a few hundred Rand cheaper that the other store, so it was not as if he did not have the product. Thank you Audio Lens and Harry, you have a customer for life.

Hello Peter I am so disappointed with the poor quality of service I recieved at the Waterfront, V&A Branch. I bought a camera in the 29th June 2019, within a week I experience a technical issue I went back to the store to inform them about it and they promised to query the matter with Cannon and get back to me. Weeks later I didnt get back any info I went back to the store and to my surprise the sales assistant didn't care enough to communicate with Cannon about the issue as confirmed , I came in on multiple occasions, as the manager wasnt available, and finally when he was available the manager wasnt aware about my issue after I identified clearly and explained what the technical problem was and the 2 sales assistant understood what the problem was. Their customer service is terrible they failed to follow up to query the matter and to get back to me as a customer. I requested for a refund as I am inconvenienced to complete my projects and they are still refusing to issue me with a refund. Their policy states "issuing of credit note, and refunds if the item has a technical problem." however since the 29th of June until today 25 of July I haven't been able to use the camera and they are suggesting that I take the camera in for assessment until then, then I can receive a credit note or a replacemet. which I refused as my experience has been exhuasting and extremely unprofesional. THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING AT AUDIOLENS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!.

Audiolens hosted a giveaway to win a nikon bundle the start of september . I entered the competition because this would be a huge benefit to me as i just started a makeup account and this camera would of been amazing for tutorials and pictures . This camera would of actually go to use . audiolens stated that the most liked post would win . At the end of the competition i managed to get 1.3K likes with the help of my family and friends . I noticed some people buying their likes (not mentioning names) , i then told audiolens about this and they then said they would all be disqualified . Anyways the day came and the winner was announced , and somebody won that only got 100+ likes HOW ? Besides the fact that i got 1.3K likes , there were people that even got more likes then the person that won ! Thats unfair towards everyone that entered and its fraud ! they then said the winner was supposed to reside in western cape , which i do . apparently "facebook" chose a winner ? Thats Totally unfair , which means i worked hard for nothing ? I was initially going to leave it , because im physically and emotionally drained from this competition . But then i Decided to take action because they played unfairly . I hope justice will be served ! They just lost so many Potential customers .

Audiolens ran a competition whereby the person with the most likes on a certain picture wins. The winner would receive a Nikon bundle. However, the person with the most likes did NOT win!!! A girl from KZN had over 3k Likes on her picture, then Audiolens made up some random t's and c's that only people from Western Cape could enter. This was NOT specified before the winner was announced- which is absolutely disgusting! I would hang my head in shame. It doesn't end there, another girl that lives IN CAPE TOWN, that had over 1300 likes never won??? but the lady with 161 likes did? This is false advertising and it shows that you as a brand is extremely dishonest and untrustworthy. I entered and I got over 240 likes- non of which were bought and l live in Cape Town!!! I very clearly remembered you stating that you decided to host a "like" competition so that the audience can select their own winner- you have failed, not only with this competition but as a brand! So this competition seems like it was rigged! I will NEVER EVER support Audiolens. I am glad you ran this competition, because now people can see your true colors and its going viral fast. I will gladly take my thousands and spend it else where- and get more for my money, because you guys are ridiculously expensive anyways!

I am a professional photographer and went to Audio lens to get 80 photos printed for a bride and was told it should take about an hour.I had to return to the store about 4 times within 3 hours before finally receiving the photos. The staff member behind the counter told me not to worry, everything was there. I trusted him because he mentioned that he had 12 years experience in the photography industry. When I got home I opened the envelope to find that a flyer had been shoved inside facing the top photograph and had bonded to it and damaged the photo. Then I counted the photos and 4 were missing and there were duplicates which I did not order and 1 photo which someone decided looked better cut almost in half. Their incompetence has now given us a bad name with our client who refuses to accept the photos and we wouldn't expect her to pay after all the mistakes that were made. So now we are sitting with R320 worth of useless prints and have to find someone else to do the reprints. We are seriously disappointed as we trusted audio lens staff and thought that they were competent and we will not be recommending audio lens to any other photographers or any of our clients for that matter.
