Spar this is the only way I may be able to get your attention. Spar I am flabbergasted how you can have the Spar name on the despicable health hazard trolleys at the Cape Town International Airport. The trolleys are not only filthy but rusted as well. When I have no choice but to use them, I immediately, when I no longer need them, wash my hands. I simply cannot believe that Spar would allow this if they know. perhaps, as you advertise on them, the money you are paying for them "somehow" finds its way into other, shall we say,"places".
This is difficult. Normally Hyperli is great and you do get whatever you paid for or ordered. However ,I bought two of their "surprise lucky packets"? I think they were about R375.00 each. The one was ok I received goods to the value of perhaps R450.00. Of course I never expected the iPhones/ tablets etc, I never received the other, and after having contacted them a few times, and I do know they were having a problem with their suppliers, I told them to just forget it, Their suppliers obviously needed the money more than I.
My account was debited for about R200.00 above what I actually should have been paying, twice in a row. After the first debit I telephoned in and was told that it they would look into it and come back to me. Of course they did not. I telephoned again and was again told that they would escalate it to accounts and they would come back to me. This time I was told it was for a decoder they had not charged me for before. I stated that, that was total ******* as I had paid for the decoder over four years ago. They said they would sort it and come back to me,. Of course they did not. The third time my account was debited for the incorrect amount I, as can be imagined, was infurated and contacted them again. Incredibly luckily I managed to speak to a lady Ntando. She spent time going into the account, and finally found out that the accounts department had decided for some asinine reason, that I had not paid for an installation over five years ago and decided to charge me now. She managed to have it all reversed. Thank you so much Ntando. As far as I am concerned this is *****, and if they are doing it to me, I can only presume they are doing it to a plethora of their other customers. Perhaps accounts were given certain instructions as a result of the Canal+ buyout. It would be interesting to find out.
Echelon, I understand many companies and individuals go through cash flow problems at times. However they should not be embarrassed about it. These things happen. No problem I will personally pay the approximately R6800.00 owing to the panel beaters and you can pay me back over 6 months if necessary. If you do need longer just say so.
I had been attempting to order water filters for my water cooler from Servest Cape Town for over three months, with no luck whatsoever. I have been ordering these filters for the past six years, I order about 4 each time, with very little hassle. However on this occasion I was sent from pillar to post with people promising to phone me back and of course no call backs. Today, I again tried telephoning their Cape Town offices a number of times and each time, after going through to a full advertising voicemail for about 2 minutes I was then cut off. Out of total frustration I telephoned the Johannesburg offices, which was answered after a few rings, I was put through to Candy Sabatini in the Cape Town offices. What a difference, she listened to my, I apologize Candy, rantings, and had the situation sorted within 5 minutes. Thank you Candy, you saved my sanity, or whatever was left at that stage. And of course your directors from receiving numerous emails letting them know what I though of their company.
I have now held on attempting to speak to Standard Bank Connect for over 26 minutes now with no end in sight. And yes I have sent two emails to their address which they supposedly answer to ameliorate the problem. Not a response after 5 days.
Help me here DSTV. I'm sure your terminology would be far better than mine in this situation. I have been debited approximately 30% more than I should have in January. I have telephoned three times asking why. Each time I have been told that, basically, it makes no sense and they would come back to me and sort it out immediately. Thus far not a word, so this is where I need your help. Is this a matter of: 1) Total incompetence 2) Basically treating your customers with contempt 4) Or and perish the thought, you are so desperate for money that you are prepared to do anything no matter how unacceptable for money. Your reply will be interesting.
I ordered a spare part for my coffee machine from Kenwood in July and paid for it. I never received the part and they simply ignored my calls, emails and Whatsapp.
This has to be one of the worst meals I have had for a long time. Two of us ordered the line fish, that we were told was Dorado. I have serious doubts it was. In any event when the meal arrived the pieces of fish were perhaps a centimetre/ 3/8 of an inch thick, dry and smothered in 'butter and lemon'. That certainly is not how you would serve any fish let alone Dorado. Both of us left at least half of the meal. One of our party ordered half a chicken, which really did not look like it was half the chicken, however that was probably fortunate as it was dry and really overcooked. Another of the party ordered calamari which was served in some sort of a sauce. It too was terrible and she left at least 80% of it. The oyster shots were, I suppose acceptable. On the positive side the meat platter for two was good. Before I forget the chips were good as was the bottled chilli sauce. What a pity, this really used to be a good restaurant.
It is simply impossible to get hold of Standard Bank Connect. I have tried 4 times now and after holding on for over 20 minutes each time, before putting the phone down.
