Having been informed by our local hardware shops about the unavailability of replacement batteries for my Bosch drilling machine battery I came across Battery Experts on Google. I was impressed by their prompt response to my enquiry by requesting all the necessary details of what I was looking for and asking relevant technical questions. At that point I felt very comfortable dealing with them. My order was promptly executed and I received my battery pack withing 4 days. That is very good and rare online service!

Unfortunately, my recent experience with this company has been deeply disappointing. I brought in my battery pack for repacking, initially paying a fee of R150 to assess whether the service could be provided. After the evaluation, I was informed that the total cost for repacking would amount to an additional R750, to which I readily agreed. However, the situation escalated when I was unexpectedly asked to pay the remaining balance before any work commenced. This request struck me as unreasonable, particularly since it had not been communicated upfront. The representative insisted that I either settle the full amount or forfeit the R150 fee and retrieve my battery pack. To add to my frustration, the tone of the communication I received was far from professional. When I attempted to express my concerns over the phone, I encountered a dismissive attitude. Eventually, I was given the option to pay the total amount or collect my unit, with the promise of a refund for the initial charge—a resolution that felt inadequate. I proposed a compromise, offering to pay R500 upfront and settle the balance upon collection. Regrettably, my offer went unanswered, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. In conclusion, this experience has highlighted significant areas for improvement in customer service and communication within the company.

I needed expert advise on a replacement battery, I was super excited to find a South African company that specializes in batteries. My other option was to order from the US. So I popped "BATTERY EXPERTS" a mail, via their web page. A week later and I have yet to receive a response. If we still re**** on snail mail I would understand but honestly an e-mail should take a week to solicit a response.

Terrible experience with after-purchase service. I had a problem with the delivery service ARAMEX, and when I contact them they told me that Battery Expert could open a ticket on my behalf so I could get a refund of my undelivered parcel and Battery Experts are REFUSING to help me with that. So I give them the money they did their part in delivering but they do not care if I received it or not and are not doing anything about it. My first instinct was manly to get a refund so I could buy the product back with them, but I am never going to buy anything from a shop that not only made me lose my money but also wasted my time trying to solve this problem with the company that THEY chose to delivery my parcel.

I would have given them more stars if it was possible, the service from this company is outstanding and I would without any hesitation recommend them to anyone, I would also personally like to thank Leigh-Anne for her prompt replies THANK YOU
