Firstly I would like to say that the service we received on 19/03/2018 was terrible. We wanted to eat sushi but the chef was not on duty, I then decided on Chicken Livers but the branch in Durbanville did not have that either. We waited more than 45min for our food after asking numerous times when it would be done, once we had foud something on the menu they actually had in stock. I would personally not reccomend this Restaurant to any person. very unhappy client!!!!!

<p>We went out last night to celebrate a HUGE achievement at Bella Bellota in Durbanville. We ordered that 'Date Night' Special which includes each a glass of wine, sushi starters and 1kg ribs, which is meant to be TOO MUCH FOOD. </p> <p> </p> <p>Well, firstly, they bought 2 out of the 8 meals ordered. We all sat their waiting while these meals were getting cold. Then, after us receiving our meal, instead of 1kg ribs, we got not even 400g!!! We complained and called the manager, she said she'd go to the kitchen and get more. She came back to our table with, I'm not even lying, TWO RIBS ONLY!!!!!!!!! What a slap in the face. She had such an attitude. Then after our main, we received our starters!</p> <p> </p> <p>I definately will not go near this restaurant again! Terrible Service. Terrible Quality. Terrible experience. I have never experienced anything more disappointing!</p>

So a month ago I booked a table at Bella Bellota in High street for my Birthday and took 19 other people there to celebrate it with me. When we got there the waiter was actually sweeping the floor using a KIDDIES MENU to sweep up the dirt from the floor. Then I went into the kids play area as I had my 4 year old girl with me to see what it actually looks like inside. When I got inside I noticed a DIRTY NAPPY in the middle of the floor and I have my daughter running around there barefoot. I immediately called the manager and informed him about the situation and he said to me: The cleaning lady is on her break at the moment and she will come and clean it when she gets back......SHOCKING! Then we get to the bathroom and there is urine on the ground, then I had to help my 4 year old just to use the toilet, trying to hold her in the air for her not to step into someone else urine. Totally disgusted. Throughout the whole evening me and my friends had to get up to get someone to come and take our orders. To top it up I emailed the OWNER - ARNO and he does not even have the decency to reply with an apology! Very disappointed!!!

My sister and I went for lunch on Freedom day (27 April) we arrived at 13:30 placed our food and drink order immediately. I ordered a started and my sister a pizza. The food took over 2 hours (the table next to us which was about 6 people got their pizzas shortly after they had ordered) we weren't offered a second round of drinks, our empty bottles were not removed and when we asked for the manager she refused to see us. After asking for the 4th time she blamed it on the kitchen. Very terrible service and attitude. Definitely wont be going there again. I have also posted on their Facebook page and had no contact.

Bella used to be our go-to restaurant for a relaxed value-for-money family type of restaurant - typically every fortnight.<br> <br> 7 months ago, we noticed that the prices had gone up significantly which put us off a bit as it was then priced on the same level as more formal, quality steakhouses in the area.<br> <br> Tonight we went there for the first time in 7 months. <br> <br> We were very disappointed all round as the restaurant seems to have lost its identity.<br> The restaurant stank of cigarette smoke.<br> We were asked to move from our table at 9pm so that the staff could clean.<br> The food was far below average for that type of restaurant.<br> The service was nothing noteworthy.<br> The furniture looked aged and something was out about the layout compared to previously.<br> <br> Ultimately the most pleasant part of the experience was the sweet that came with the bill.<br> <br> Given the culture of South Africans, I fear that many people simply wont return to this restaurant.<br> <br> I would strongly suggest getting some professional advice from industry gurus on re-establishing the Bella brand.<br> <br> PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME.<br> <br> I will give Bella a last chance after another 7 months if it is actually still around.

I've now visited the restaurant three times, and, even during load shedding, had great service from the staff. My food was always great and service friendly and efficient. Thank you for your great attitude.
