My fibre internet has been dropping frequently for several weeks. I have contacted Vodacom who closed the call before it was resolved. I complained about it on Hello Peter and got a call from the Vodacom Hello Peter team telling me that their support people would contact me the same day. It is now the end of the week and 5 days have passed. Still not a peep from Vodacom and the fibre line is still dropping frequently.
I keep getting spammed on SMS by Dawn Wing for deliveries to ITQA(PTY)LTD with Runway Sale deliveries. They have the wrong contact number.
Vodacom fibre internet connection has been dropping frequently. After completely turning it off, Vodacom has partially address their configuration problems to activate it again. I spoke to a consultant on Thursday who was going to arrange for people to assist. I requested that it be done on Monday since we would be away from Friday. Vodacom has now closed the issue and marked it as repaired because they could not get hold of me on Friday - despite me spefically asking on Thursday that they address it on Monday.
I am being spammed by Discovery Invest. Multiple calls across two days from various Discovery advisors trying to **** their services to me and asking whether I have a financial advisor. Completely unsolicited. I don't see how this is legal.
<p>We wont be back.</p> <p> </p> <p>Four of us we went to Cafe Rousse. I ordered a drink which was meant to be pineapple-based, but came as orange-based. This was not corrected by the waitress. We all ordered steaks which took an hour to arrive. My wife's steak was mostly sinue and about half of it was inedible as a result. The starters only arrived after the mains were finished (presumably because the waitress forgot about them). When I complained to the manager her only response was "well will notify our suppliers".</p> <p> </p> <p>There was no compensation or correction of the issues.</p> <p> </p> <p>The place is now at the bottom of my list for restaurants in the area.</p> <p> </p> <p>Highly unrecommended to go and eat there.</p>
<p>Last year I turned on DSTV to watch the Rugby World Cup. In a phone call to DSTV the day after the World Cup ended to cancel my account, the agent told me that my service would be disconnected within 2 days. My account was, however, billed for far more than that. I now want to turn DSTV for the purposes of watching the Olympics but my account is incorrect (R400+ due).</p> <p> </p> <p>On 30 July 2016 called the contact centre and the agent told me that my account has been active until April 2016 which is impossible since the service has been off and I have not been billed or notified of any outstanding billing at all. She said that she would retrieve the recordings from when I last spoke to an agent in November 2015 and get back to me that day.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is now 5 days later and I have heard nothing.</p> <p> </p> <p>DSTV seems to be an absolute shambles.</p>
Telkom is Rubbish<br> <br> Worst ISP I have ever been with. At least once a week the connections in our area drop for no reason. It is usually down for a few hours.<br> <br> At least once a month it is down for a few days. Logging calls with Telkom takes them a few days more to fix it.<br> <br> All Telkom customers in the Welgemoed area in Cape Town experience the same types of outages at the same times and nothing gets done about it. <br> <br> Telkom people call you to try to fix it but it is the SAME PROBLEM EVERY TIME!! <br> <br> WHY DO THEY NEED TO CALL?!?? <br> <br> JUST FIX IT!!!<br> <br> It's been years now.<br> <br> Useless!<br> <br> I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!<br> <br> Total rubbish ISP!
On Tuesday 1 March our electricity supply was physically disconnected at 10am (not just switched off) because of a fault on our line. We were without electricity for the night of 1 March. Due to the availability of electricians, the fault was repaired at 5pm on the 2nd of March. The council would not turn the electricity back on. We had to pay a reconnection fee because of them physically disconnecting the line. But because they only accept the fee cash, you have to go to the council office during office hours. So we were without electricity for a 2nd night. The alarm battery ran flat so we had no security. The fridges had defrosted so R2000 of food went off. There was no hot water and no lighting. My wife's business from home had no computers and so could not function. Our 4 month old baby had formula made from cold water which is a health risk. He could not bath for 2 days because the water was too cold. On the 3rd of March we have to fly to Johannesburg mid-day. I doubt the council will have done anything by then to remedy this absolute shambles of a bureaucracy where they clearly don't give a stuff. Needless to say that I simply cannot vote for the DA in this local election.
On Friday 26th February I ordered a vase of 24 roses with some greenery for delivery and was charged R540 plus R60 for delivery.<br> <br> 23 roses were delivered.<br> <br> While it is admittedly only one rose missing, you would expect that at extortionate rates of R20 per rose, that some double-checking on the number of roses would be done to ensure accuracy.<br> <br> Effectively I have been ripped off by R20 on what is otherwise a good product.
Roman's Pizza spams me frequently with \ONLY R99 for ANY box 2xlarge pizza. Mon - Wed ONLY. ANY 2xlarge pizaa ONLY R99. Offer Ends ....\"<br> <br> I DON'T WANT ANY OF THEIR RUBBISH PIZZAS!!!!<br> <br> NOR ANY OF THEIR RUBBISH SPAM!!!"
