I'm extremely disappointed to hear about the closure of the dealership in Middelburg. As a customer, I'm deeply concerned about the impact this will have on many customers who rely on this branch for convenient service. With vehicles still under warranty or service plan, the closure means everyone have to travel all the way to Groblersdal, which is a significant inconvenience. For many , the Middelburg branch was a lifeline, providing essential services and support. The closure will not only cause logistical headaches but also financial strain. Some customers may not have the fuel funds to drive to Groblersdal, which means they'll be forced to either neglect their vehicle's maintenance or incur additional expenses. This is particularly challenging for those who rely on their vehicles for work or daily commutes. The closure will also have a ripple effect on the local community. Many people in Middelburg and surrounding areas will be forced to spend more time and money traveling to Groblersdal. This will not only be a hassle but also a significant added expense. The dealership's closure will undoubtedly cause frustration and disappointment among customers, and I hope that this decision will be reconsidered. As a customer, I urge the company to consider the impact of this closure on the community and to explore alternative solutions. Perhaps there could be mobile service options or partnerships with local mechanics to ensure that customers can still access essential services. Whatever the solution, it's essential that the company prioritizes its customers' needs and finds a way to mitigate the effects of this closure.

🚨 DO NOT TRUST VOLKSWAGEN SOUTH AFRICA! THEY PROTECT NEGLIGENCE! 🚨 I took my Volkswagen to VW Middelburg for a simple service and noise diagnosis. Instead of correctly identifying the problem, they misdiagnosed my car, forced me to replace the clutch and flywheel (which were NOT the issue), and returned my car still broken. 🔴 Misdiagnosed the problem and made me pay for unnecessary repairs. 🔴 The noise returned immediately after driving less than 10km! 🔴 Refused to give me the job card that proves their mistake. 🔴 Car was returned with more issues! Now my key fob doesn’t work, and the airbag error light is on. 🔴 When I escalated the matter to Volkswagen South Africa, they IGNORED the facts and simply said ‘sorry.’ After spending thousands, my car is STILL NOT FIXED! Instead of holding their dealership accountable, Volkswagen South Africa is protecting their negligence. This is unacceptable and *********.

I need urgent assistance I took my car for service today and when I went to collect they say all the cars that were in for service are out and no car is left behind. Called Gert Louw and he shouted at me as if Ian at fault and told me he is on Holiday he is not gonna entertain this and all his people are at Witbank theres is nothing he can do how do I sleep without the whereabouts of my car, I also have places to go as he says Im disturbing him on his holiday. How sure am I that my car is not being stripped as I am sitting here. I need prompt response and I need to have a sit in with Gert to tell me straight what kind of service is he rendering or is it because I am black that is why he spoke to me the way he did I am really ****ed off Service advisor Suzenne

My car had a rattling sound underneath when I took it in for 45000km service and I was told to set up another date for them to find the fault. We did that and I took it in again on the 15th July at 07:00am in the morning only for them to call me in the afternoon to tell me they can’t seem to pin point where the noise was coming from. I went back there and I literally had to pinpoint the fault for them and showed the manager,Gert, a video of where the problem was on the car. He asked me to leave the car overnight with them so he can take videos of the faulty part as proof so he can order a new steering rack. I decided to take it home with me and drop it off the following day at 07:00 am sharp. My car stayed there the whole day again just for pictures and videos. I collected it later that day and was told a new steering rack would be ordered and they let me know when they receive one. They then called me again on 1st of August and said I can bring in the car today(07 August) for fitment of the new steering rack and that this would be a one day job. I dropped it off 07:15 sharp this morning and they were quiet till I gave them a call at 16:30pm. I was told they hadn’t attended to my car the whole day and requested that I leave the car with them overnight. I went to fetch my car the same day and the Manager , Gert sat in his office for almost 45minutes while I and another customer waited for him to attend to us. Manager is *********** and has no clue of what’s going on on his floor and I’m still waiting on him to give me a way forward on what to do

We have been struggling with our vehicle for 2 YEARS NOW at Volkswagen Middelburg Mpu. Parts that are installed are faulty Volkswagen parts and keep on failing. The part has been replaced 3 times already. We have spent close to R50 000 and still receive a vehicle which is faulty. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. All effort we receive from the manager is a "we will have to check again". This is really a disgrace towards Volkswagen

Greeting, I am writing this evaluation on my niece's behalf. On August 24,2023,she brought her car to VW Middelburg for repairs. The primary issue was that the car's dashboard displayed warning lights for Abs, tire pressure, PDC sensor, start/stop error while she was driving. After doing a diagnosis, they discovered that the rats had chewed wiring in the plenum chamber,. They fixed the wires, fixed all errors, and charged her R4621. 85, but after one day same problem reappeared, she took it back to them they fixed the problem again. One week before December 11,2023 the primary problem reappeared an became intermittent, she was forced to take the car back to them on December 11,but this time, they gave her a different diagnosis even though the issue remained. The updated quotation lists few things that need to be changed and the total cost of the repair should be R7109-82.I called them in an attempt to find out why the diagnosis was different from the first one, but we are still dealing with the same issue. They did not provide me with straightforward answers. I would like helopeter to help us, as they failed to resolve our issue we would like to get our money back so that we can take it somewhere else for repairs. This clearly demonstrates their incompetence and their tendency to rob those in need. On December 14,2023,we drove the automobile to VW Witbank and they provided us with a diagnosis that differed from VW Middelburg's, which causes confusion. Here's my email address in case you need any more details :mtauaron@gmail.com. Thank you

I booked my vehicle for service, it stayed at the dealership from 06:00am only when I called if I could collect the vehicle at 16:30pm I was told that the service has not been done yet because they couldn’t get hold of the service plan company. I was not informed during the day, I had to call them and ask.

Got my car serviced. They striped my sump plug putting new oil after telling me over the phone that i must get it fixed later on butt there was nothing wrong with it before the service and when i arrived to collect my car I asked them about the plug and said to me theres nothing wrong with it and I asked them are they 100 percent sure and the guy said yess. After driving to pretoria and back i could see the glue hanging from the plug with oil on it. Another thing the same time I fetched my car the same guy who **** to my face bumped my spoiler while driving it and didn't say a thing until i went to inspect the car after speaking to him about the sump plug then only I noticed it and confronted him and then he confessed. Would really not consider any1 to service their car there they break things and keep quiet about it!
