I signed up with Body Future Eersteriver but never got the chance to use the gym. I lost my job shortly after joining and had to move away. I reached out to explain my situation through calls and emails, hoping for some understanding but was met with a complete lack of empathy. Despite not using the service at all, they continued to debit my account every month. Even after the contract should’ve ended, the deductions carried on for six more months. I eventually had to go to the bank to stop it myself. At no point did they show compassion or even acknowledge the circumstances I was going through. It’s deeply disappointing to be treated this way as if you’re just a number and not a human being. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone who values respectful and humane customer service.

Cannot recommend this gym at all. Trying to exit your contract is a nightmare, I’ve notified on multiple occasions that I would like the contract terminated, even obliged to their 30-day notice terms, I still feel like they’re trying to get the last out of me. Absolutely enraging

I paid 6 months upfront from 23rd November 2022 & my contract was supposed to run till 23rd May 2023 but after not being at the gym for 2 weeks on the 12th of April 2023 I was met with an A4 page saying that the gym has relocated to the Eerste River branch & the Parow branch would be permanently closed, how do you not notify your clients when making such a decision? Especially when most of us living close to the Parow area are not able to travel to Eerste River to go to the gym.

A few months ago I was unemployed and wanted to see what body Future gym eersterivier is about as the gym in soneike moved abit further. I called and a lady called busy asked me to come into the branch. On arrival I was greeted by the manager Simba who I explained that I am in employed but I was looking for a short term 3 month contract. He wrote on the contract that it is only for 3 months and that I could pay cash. I got a call last week that they signed me up for a 12 month contract, how they can sign up someone who is unemployed for a year I don't understand. I was mislead. This is against the law I know that so I contacted one of the owners on luan@bodyfuture.co.za this person is saying that simba offered me a once off 3 month contract which is 700, this is the first time I hear of this and on top of that I need to pay an amount over 1000 for something I never signed up for. I was given an option for woman's month or some promotion that was running never this. This manager or owner never apologized, I requested simba to call me he never called and they refusing to send me the contact I never received a copy. I do not recommend body Future gym, they will do anything scam unemployed people into a sale and they have the poorest customer service. Now they calling me for some boot camp. Therse are scammers I'm disgusted with their customer service.

Signed up with a consultant, he changed their copy of the contract afterwards, commiting fraud, when I informed them thereof, they, whoever amatuer day management they are, shrugged it off saying that consultant are not employed there anymore. I never set foot in that place, again. Been trying to cancel my contract, and while they eventually said my contract is scheduled for cancellation, did not respond again when I asked if another premium will go off. This is just a waste of a gym. Poor clown management. Old second hand equipment. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with this pathetic place and sign up with a proper established gym instead.

Good Day I trust this email finds you well. I signed up for the gym on Tuesday the 28th of September 2021. I was told my assessment with an instructor needs to be booked. Which I did in advance for Saturday the 2nd of October. On the same day I was called and went in just to be told that the instructor would not be at the gym when that could've been told me to before the day of the assessment. I am very displeased with the service and lack of communication from your staff as I had to do follow ups on this throughout this whole week, still getting no response. I canceled the contract as I would not have time to gym during the week, hence me booking Saturday's instead. Nothing was communicated around not receiving any refund or having to cancel within 7days. This was told to me only when I went in last week. I have visited the gym again today 9th October 2021 just to still get nothing out of it. This is really frustrating going back and forth. I'm now being charged for a tag which was never even allocated to me, and that is not fair. I was with your gym for 3days before canceling and all I'm being told is that I won't get any refund. I never touched no equipment, I haven't had no session, I didn't get no tag. So why can I not get my money back? I can understand being charged for a joining fee but for a tag that I didn't get, doesn't make sense. I am certain someone else would've responded the same way I am as this is giving one reason not to join your gym again. Please get back to me as soon as this is resolved, I'll appreciate it.
