I brought back a brushcutter 37.6 CC FS161STLH back to Burmeisters in East London in Quigney on the 15th November 2024 at 09h46. The brushcutter's spinning head popped out and needed it to be fixed as it's still under warranty. I was told that it will be done by Monday the 18th November 2024. I came to collect the following day which was Tuesday the 19 November 2024 and I was told that they'd call me as it hasn't come back yet to the store. Days went by without feedback so I decided to go and check on the 13th December 2024. A person that assisted me went to receiving to check and came back and told me that the machine hasn't arrived yet and they'd call me. I again went to check on the 10th of January 2025 and the same tune was sung once again. I once again went there today being the 29th of January 2025 to check and to also bring back another machine which is falty and still also under warranty. They said that the person working on the machine was off today and will get a call tomorrow with feedback after staying there for over and 1hr 30 minutes. On top of that, the other machine's part will only arrive on Friday the 31st of January 2025 after 12h00 and I'll get a call as soon as the parts arrive.

I have sent in my wheat eater that I bought in November2022 for repairs - returned it in December 2022 as it was not feeding the petrol when I called January they told me that the company only opened second week In January so they are working on it. I then called today 20.02.2023 and the lady I spoke to tells me the machine was only collected from them 2 weeks ago it's already 2 months they have it and this is the pathetic service I get for a machine that was a month old. I demand my full refund as this is pathetic service how can this take so long. I want my money back as I will rather go somewhere else where customer service is a priority. They don't even follow up or anything you must call after them as if I got this for free R2000 is alot of money I want a complete refund

<div>Burmeisters iBeacon Bay is a local builders shop. Wow, their prices and service is excellent. But the best is their staff. While Christmas shopping, 6 staff came to ask if they could help me. I told one staff member “Yes, can you tell me what Im looking for. Ive forgotten”. The best however, was a staff member who used to help me pack my goods into the back of our very high bakkie. I thanked him profusely. He said: “Without the CLIENT we are NOTHING”. I was totally amazed. Many people just speak to management to complain. I do it to pay compliments. I asked for the manager and told him Id been in client services at a University for 28 years. That was the best statement Id heard a staff member make. Would they please acknowledge it and reward him. When I told the staff member he cried.</div>

I bought a paraffin heater for R999 at Burmeisters in East London, last year in February. I brought it back in April because of an annoying sound it made when in use and the net inside started tearing. I was helped by a gentleman called LOUIS....HE TRIED TO FIX THE HEATER...I WAS NOT HAPPY AT ALL BECAUSE THE HEATER WAS NEW...WHEN THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON JULY AND THE HEATER COULD NOT BE USED. I ASKED MY DAUGHTER TO PUT IT IN THE GARAGE. THIS YEAR ( 2018) IN APRIL, I VISITED BURMEISTERS TO BUY MYSELF A GAS HEATER BT THERE WERE NO GAS HEATERS IN STORE...I NARRATED THE STORY OF MY OLD HEATER AND THE GUY REMEMBERED ME AND ASKED ME TO BRING IN THE HEATER. I DID BRING IN THE HEATER AND LOUIS CALLED THEIR SUPPLIER IF THEY CAN FIX THE HEATER FOR ME BECAUSE IT WAS SAID A CERTAIN PART WAS MISSING OF WHICH I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF....THE SUPPLIER SAID "NO" AND LOUIS TRIED TO STRIP A NEW HEATER SO AS TO GET THIS MISSING ONE BT THESE HEATERS WERE NOT THE SAME...I WILL APPRECIATE ANY KIND OF HELP ....BUYING A HEATER WHICH I NEVER ENJOYED SADDENS ME A LOT...I AM A REGULAR BUYER AT BURMEISTERS. <p>I bought a water pump on the 27th of april 2017, and asked my plumber to install it. He then realised that i was not completely sealed/shut as air was coming out of the unit. On inspctionhe realised that the unit was faulty as it was not completely sealed. I then went back to the dealer in east london (where i bought it) and the conviniently told me all these warranty issues. Firstly the service was so poor not even a pauper would afford it. They deliberately tried to tell me that thi is my fault. It's not even a week let alone two days!!!! i mean ***??? I'm sittinghee with ABSOLUTELY no running water whatsoever!! i have tobeg neighbours for water as my taps can't run.</p> <p> </p> <p>Theservice io got was abolutely appalling.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regrds</p> <p>Disguasted Customer</p>
