The worst experience ever! Took my 16 yr old injured son there on Monday , which I regret till this second. From the Receptionist not knowing how insurance works to the Doctors :( non chalant attitude. Everything I had to ask for 2 panados after I asked as my son was in pain , then 2 tramadol for a 16 yr old, and he had bad heart palpitations after that meds after I as a parent trust them to give correct meds etc, no empathy no sympathy. I had to ask what exactly does the xray say cos the doctor is so slow and minimal of words, I had to ask for a sick note and he did not even book off my son I had to asked for a pain med script.....Ohhh and to top it off the injury was on the leg and back and he only attended to the back. NOTHING WHATSOVER! We all pay the same fees but I can surely say the treatment differs , we waited so long to be helped and everything was so rubbed off. I am dissapointed and disgusted with the service and feel I failed my son by taking him to this pathetic hospital!! Where is the Ethics, compassion, care , dignity, high quality care and service you advertise??????????????

The worst hospital experience ever. My husband was lying in hospital for one and half a day before attending or approaching him at all. His surgery was scheduled for Friday and because of POOR communication and POOR patient handover was only attended to on the Saturday. WE are paying and they just don't care. Will NEVER suggest any unwell or very sick person to come here at all.

I just want to take a moment to thank & compliment Sereh of the Busamed Clinic at The Huntsman for the outstanding service you provided me at the clinic. Your kindness, patience, understanding and professionalism make such a difference. You didn’t just assist me—you made me feel truly cared for and respected and took me from tears and distress to reassurance and smiles. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with such genuine warmth. May you continue to bring comfort and reassurance to all who visit the clinic. My prayer is that you will stay at this clinic. A wonderful medical staff member you are Sereh. I honor and appreciate you.

If I could I would give this place a zero star rating! Don't even know where to start, horrible service, arrogant doctors and a non existing finance department. Stay as far away from this place as possible!

Absolutely shocking behaviour and care by Busamed Paardevlei staff. Many people have been complaining regarding the nurse care in the wards at Busamed and its sad to hear this based on the fees one pays and yet nothing gets done about it. My mother has recently been admitted to your Medical Ward and to hear that the elderly get brushed off when requiring assistance is most disappointing. Even to get water from the staff is a difficult task. We resorted to her carer going in to assist with cleaning her properly as their staff just don’t seem to care. I was there during visit hours and to even get a return greeting and information from Sister (Nurse) on duty was an effort until I physically walked to the counter as she would have continued to ignore me otherwise. They are rude, intolerant, do not care and quite simply do not behave in a professional manner. My mother asked if one of the nurses could assist her in going to the toilet as she needed to defecate and was told to rather defecate in her nappy and they would then clean her. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable as well as completely degrading to one’s dignity. She complained the next morning and I believe they basically said that those who complain get ignored completely. Then last night, she asked for assistance and then unfortunately wet her bed, she asked for help and they said your carer can clean you in the morning so she slept in her urine the entire night, half the bed was wet. Disgusting and completely unacceptable!!!! This is a ward for people who being monitored as they have serious flu are are border line pneumonia patients! I sincerely hope you will take note of this issue and address this urgently. It’s sad enough that people are hospitalised but one then would think you are in a safe & caring environment but sadly not.

I received statements from Busamed Paardevlei regarding outstanding amounts for doctors' fees and numerous consumables that I did not utilize during a follow-up appointment. I was subsequently billed for these items and had to engage in a dispute resolution process to rectify the situation. Their lack of competence and attention to detail has resulted in a negative experience, and I will not be utilizing their services in the future. Truly doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.

I had the worst experience at Busamed Paardevlei Hospital while undergoing back surgery. Despite being in extreme pain, I was refused pain medication and had to wait a shocking 10 hours before receiving a drip. The standard of care was appalling—catheters weren’t emptied for an entire day, and my roommate's stoma bag was only cleaned every other day. The staff were not only rude and disrespectful but even referred to patients as “high maintenance.” To make matters worse, my roommate was left lying in a bed covered in feces and blood for two hours. It was clear the nurses lacked proper experience in caring for surgical patients. Their negligence put my recovery and life at serious risk. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a medical facility.
