I have been called by a person claiming to be from this practice. I emailed the practice (to the email provided on their site) to confirm if such a person was indeed working there or if I was being setup for a ****. The email was sent on the 6th of November 2024. To date I haven't received a response from them, do they even care if people email them? Or are they looking out for high rollers and jumping to assist only them?

I received a message of settlement of credit card a month ago, I paid and settled the amount. I sent POP to which a gentleman by the name of Clement Baloyi acknowledged. I then proceeded to ask for clearance letter from the bank and was told by him that the bank will send to them between 7-14 days. Since then there was no communication, it’s over a month now I’m mailing them daily to no response even the lady that was always on the correspondence by the name of Jenna is not saying anything. All I want is for a clearance letter to sort out my messy life regarding ITC. I’m very unhappy and disappointed, I thought they would handle this in a professional manner.

If I had searched for reviews on BVZ Attoneys before transferring my hard earned money to their firm, I would have asked NEDBANK to have another firm assist in acquiring my parents title deed. I had been in proper communication with them regarding a Bond Cancellation and Upliftment for my parents so they can get their title deed but after I had paid and emailed all the required documents, that's when communication went silent. I sent follow up emails requesting feedback to no avail, until I decided to call their office and demanded to talk to the person who I was communicating with on email, Charlene Jatho. They then told me that Charlene no longer works at the firm... very suspicious. After calling BVZ Attorneys, the receptionist cc'd me in an email that was sent to Tasneem Mahomed asking her to send me feedback, she didn't and only last week she emailed me to ask for my numbers. I responded and waited for her call or email but til to date, nothing. I do not recommend this firm for anything because they are inconsiderate, *********** and lack any sense of urgency. All I asked for was feedback and to keep me informed of anything regarding my parents title deed but you'll get no such from this firm.

The worst service I have ever received, been waiting for my paid-up letter for more than 14 days and i am told i must wait for some more days after i was promised 7 to 14 working days. After receiving the money, they don't care about the customer.

BVZ attorneys are absolutely useless. Please avoid at all cost, they do not care about they client. It's been more than a month and I still await contact from the Director of BVZ attorneys, Mr. Johnnie Louw to answer questions on his *********** and arrogant Conveyancer Secretary, Charlene Jatho. Dear Mr. Johnnie Louw. I would have appreciated your call as I set aside time for this on short notice and it is frustratingly difficult to get hold of you and there is no department/person that we as clients can engage with at BVZ attorneys, except for non-respondent conveyancer, who was appointed to do the work. Yes, this quoted “The Notarial Deed of Cession of the exclusive use in respect of the garden and parking was unfortunately lost by the previous transferring attorneys, which required an affidavit and advertising thereof, with a substantial waste of time” in your email below is highly understood and accepted. What I would like to understand which include that may have contributed delays as well as the service which I paid for, as received from your Conveyancer Charlene Jatho. From, my side, it is a build-up of possible inconsistences. Please can I get explanations for the following : 1. On the tracking system (Lexis Tracker), the title deed was received on the 19/05/2023. A few weeks later I was informed the title deed was lost – I was only informed approximately 1.5 months later that the Title deed was lost. Why did it take you so long to inform me? I did ask the question on Lexis Tracker and no response was given to me? Please explain? How did the title deed get lost after it was received? 2. And then when I came into your offices to sign, it became an issue of the bank delaying, I cannot remember the entire conversation? Perhaps ask Charlene? If she can’t, I will look up something on email and try to justify, If I remember correctly in this instance I also asked for your contact details, but Charlene did not give it to me 3. This message was sent to me “COJ rejected our on-line application for extended RCF - "Application already lodged by another Attorney firm” I responded “Please explain the above, I don't know what this means? In addition, please explain the implications?” No explanation was given by Charlene. 4. This transfer was lodged previously (last week or so) and was rejected because “Unfortunately our documents were rejected in the Deeds Office as we have to deal with the condition regarding the Homeowners Association”. I have asked Charlene to explain this further and received no response. In my understanding, advice was sought (from my attorney), internet you need to have HOA certificate/consent before lodging is in order. So, until today these don’t have a completed date on lexis tracker? So, today is the second time it is being lodged with the deeds office because of this and I cross fingers Charlene has done her job by handing all the relevant documents and no rejections. 5. Charlene, as you may have picked up, does not answer most of my questions including the above and likely other instances where I have asked for explanations. I think I deserve all my questions/request answered as I have paid BVZ for their services. 6. Recently, I have tried to contact 2-3 times Charlene through her cellphone, no answer. However, when I phoned her direct landline (which probably does not have a caller identity) the call was immediately answered. I asked her for your number (as you may have picked up my displeasure from her)? She agreed to send it via whatsapp after her loadshedding schedule as she had no internet. After the phone call I sent her a message via whatsapp reminding her to send your number and until today (approximately, 5 working days later), no response. I had to use other means getting into contact with you, Jessica has been a huge help. These are just some of my main concerns and I probably can pick on others as well . I would expect answers to all off the above. If needed, I am happy to supply you with trace emails and I’m sure you can trace some of the issues via the tracking system. These delays are causing a financial impact on my side. Mr. Louw, I expect a response from you at your soonest convenience (preferably tomorrow).

I can recommend this law firm for any property related services. Sandra Naicker employed by BVZ in their Conveyancing Department is a professional that acts with integrity and delivers on her promises. Thank you for the frequent feedback and professional advice. It is much appreciated.

I keep getting an an sms from this character Julia and each time it is a threat of sending the court sheriff, which is annoying because clearly she does not check in with Nedbank and and secondly he seems to be totally clueless. I was already given this document months ago, to which I am able to dispute it sending a copy vai registered mail and also to send a copy to the magistrate of the court. Since the document was flawed with false information, such as me going into the bank and signing paperwork, is a lie as I did this whole transaction over the phone with some tele sales person at that time. I am still awaiting response from the magistrate, so if Julia wants a response then she needs to consult with the magistrate.
