Terrible service. Waited 1 hour to get service, and no updates during the day. They also do not follow instructions.Asked them not to wash the vehicle as it has ppf and normal soaps cannot be used, but they still washed it,even though we called again to make sure they don't wash it.Vehicle is good, pity service is so bad, will have to reconsider purchasing a volvo in future.

Terrible.... salesman, fni, manager and dp are people who tell stories and have no customer service. It is truly the worst experience I have ever had buying a car from any dealership(ive bought over 8 cars in 10 years - all from dealerships).... They have left a bad taste in my mouth and i will never step foot into any cmh group and I will neither recommend them to anyone. It is shocking how they are still operating and have jobs because i cannot believe i would be the only person to have a bad experience there.... if every single employee is rotten then that whole business ethic there is rotten.

My car has been with volvo umhlanga since April 2024 following a breakdown on the 29th of March. Assessments were done to ascertain what the problem was and no communication until I called and the service manager said he will found out the status from the mechanic. I had to do this on weekly basis either call or travel to Durban to meet with Mr Arvin who later gave conflicting updates the problem was the belt, then the engine which was to be ordered then the block and it kept on changing.. Eventually the car was fixed at the end of July I went to fetch it only to find more problems, mags and tyre's damaged, boot cover broken and the Bonnet that cannot open and be held up. On engaging him he claims it's not his responsibility I must go to the towing company. I find this to be too arrogant for some one who did not hand over my car nor the report for the work done.

I have been waiting since 20/02/2023 to get my car repaired Engine Wiring harness has failed. Apparently part has to come from Sweden and is specially made to the VIN Number. I'm told the raw materials are a problem, does this mean that Volvo are unable to manufacture any vehicles. The service received is questionable from Volvo. So be careful when buying a Volvo, might be the safest car but has the most electrical problems. Therefore, as I have found out, do your homework before you buy a Volvo, it isn't as great as one would think. When you have the problem after the warranty is up you're on your own!

Good Day, I travelled form Durban to Jhb yesterday afternoon (20/12/2022). About 75km in, the car starting leaking coolant badly. I was at the garage and opened to check and found a coolant pipe had burst. I had my family in the car was very desperate. After some phoning around, i got a hold of Volvo Umhlanga and spoke to Luke in parts, gave him the part and VIN number to check stock. Luckily he had. I used some tape to temporarily close the leak and drove back to Dbn slowly and reached Volvo Umhlanga. Got there, bought the part and them Patrick (workshop manager) personally fitted it on for me after the car cooled down. He provided further advice on future maintenance, etc. And within the hour i was on my way back to Jhb with my mind at ease...all this with the car packed with luggage and my family still in. What could have potentially been a disaster turned out to be a miracle. I would like to thank Patrick, Luke and the other Parts team for the kindness and efforts in ensuring that this issue was not bigger than is already was and the speedy, efficient assistance. Regards, Trevor

On 10 January 2022, I took my car in for a checkup on a fuel leak. The technician looked under the bonnet, realised the leak and send me away asking me to book the car in for the 14 January 2022. Volvo may be the safest car in the world but this service centre has undid all of that technology with their attitude to customer safety.

I recently purchased a car from them on the 5th of November 2021 and received my car on the 16 of November 2021. Wow I was so shocked for the quick response, application, approval and delivery of my vehicle! I am so satisfied and happy to purchase from this reliable dealer. Thank you very much Nirisha Raghubir (finance) and Yousuf Abdool Rahim (sales) for such a wonderful experience. And Thanks to CMH Volvo 😇🙏🏾

Volvo Cars Volvo Car South Africa Hello Peter South Africa Consumer Reports CMH Volvo Cars 3rd-4th June 2021: Service Manager Arvin Sookdeo and Brand Manager Tony H (who did not want to even disclose his name) from CMH Volvo Cars Umhlanga were consulted on services provided by their branch which were overseen by them. The encounters and conversations that we have had with these two Volvo employees are disgraceful and absolutely unprofessional. Both individuals have no politeness or compassion towards their clients. When this was brought up further, both refused to improve on their customer skills and no apology was extended for the arrogance exhibited by them. It is so unfortunate that two employees of such a reputable brand, behave in such a manner. The customer care is not equal across the board and they have made us feel as if they are doing us a favour by servicing a car that was very happily sold to us by them. The price and quality of the car is extremely high and has not be afforded the proper care and attention from either of these two workers. The matter will be taken up further however this is an FYI for anyone wanting to purchase from CMH VOLVO Cars Umhlanga DONT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. Rather go to a different branch, you will save yourself a lot of headaches and unwanted heartaches. #volvo #cmhvolvoumhlanga #customersmatter
