It takes CTU more than 2 months just to get to a point where they consider a third party claim. You are lucky if you can reach them telephonically because they might not answer their phones. they rarely send you any updates even if you send them regular requests for feedback.

This company is worse than useless. Accident happened August 2025 and still today Jan 2026 we are still chasing them to finalise and payout. This is not our insurance company fortunately but to those who seek a good company is warned not to use this one as you will regret it.

CTU has proven to be the masters of unprofessionalism. There's no sense of urgency whatsoever. Accident happened in [September 2025] , even today , [ Dec 2025] , my car is still not fixed. When I call , Tevin Mkhabela ( Liability Specialist) is busy playing hide & seek and providing absurd stories. He is so creative with lies by the way. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this pathetic excuse for an insurance ! Where's the principle of "Treat Customers Fairly ?" , do they even have Quality Assurance ? Complaints Dept must be a joke !! Please avoid CTU at cost.

I have had a very bad experience with CTU, no sense of urgency whatsoever, they will do anything possible to avoid to settle a claim, one of my taxis was involved in an accident on the 2nd of August 2025 even today I am busy running up and down to get assistance, they have appointed two assessors already trying to find something not to settle the claim, the level of professionalism is so poor that even if you escalate you find the same person just in a different suite and office. I have never experienced this kind of service in my entire life.

CL298006 I have had an absolutely dreadful customer experience over the past two months with this company. Despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance, I’ve received no support from the staff, specifically from Manas Senne (@manasS@ctu.co.za). His behavior has been not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. He lacks basic customer service skills and has been rude and dismissive throughout our communication. In fact, when I mentioned the possibility of escalating the issue to the ombudsman, Mr. Senne responded in a highly inappropriate manner, saying, “Go ahead, this is a legal case and it could take up to six years to resolve.” His tone was completely uncalled for, and this kind of response is absolutely unacceptable. I feel completely ignored by this company. There is no clear direction, no help, and no respect for the customer. How can they run a business this way? Where is the commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction? This experience has been nothing short of disheartening. i want answers!

Good day I just want to share my experience with this service provider. They are *********** i was recently in a collision with their insured where the driver had side swiped my vehicle and fled the scene and i had to chase after him and flashing and hooting for him to stop. He had eventually stopped about 800m to 1km away from the scene on the side of the road where my vehicle was still obstructing traffic. When asked why did he flee the scene he advised because of traffic, if this was the case why stop on the side of the road and still obstruct traffic like really. I was then reverted to the broker and then CTU underwriters at first they had declined my claim as they had believed their insured because i had no witnesses, how will i have witness when i had to chase down the driver i mean how dumb can you be. I then escalated it and was reverted to the head of department for third parties who is LINDA as the head she is *********** that is why the staff is like this which makes sense if you lead by example they will follow clearly that her example of being ***********. She had requested all documentation from me and everyday its either she is reveiwing the claim or the assessors. I had provided all neccesary information and it is a ******** offense to flee a scene after a incident as per the road traffic regulations act of 1996. I had even stated that i was hit from the right really to the right front but still, again by law if hit and the rear it is the third party fault and if i collided into him how did my vehicle get damaged from the rear to the front. Bottom line CTU IS USELESS and now they had forced my hand to open a charge for reckless and negligent driving towards the driver. LINDA DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN THAT POSTION AND CTU SHOULD NOT BE UNDER THE SAME UMBRELLA AS HOLLARD ITS A DISGRACE.

On the 03rd of November 2024 was involved in a car accident whereby a driver of the company Valencia Metals Processors knocked me on the the drivers side..This company is insured under CTU Insurance. I sent out all documents to CTU insurance and have been following up with the claim as from date of documents sent. As from December I have been calling and they have been giving me a status of waiting for everything to be verified and approved from the clients insurance..As the 3rd party I have been calling everytime and during December they told me the person handling my claim is on leave returning in January.How absurd is it that from the beginning of January I have been calling CTU insurance and they still giving me the same status and also when I follow up with the client they inform me that on their side they are told I have outstanding documentation… How does one get justice in this case cause even when I ask to leave my number for them to call me back Im told I should call to follow up .Is there even progress on my claim cause at this point I feel like the company is going around in circles just because Im a young female

My Aunt who has a policy with CTU, one of her drivers was involved in an accident and didn't inform my aunt. Now that client is a 3rd party claim which now the other insurance is claiming from my aunt and the person who was driving the vehicle at that time unfortunately has passed away to say exactly what happened as he didn't tell my aunt anything. Now CTU is rejecting the claim saying, " they can't entertain it now". Like since when does a 3rd party claim expire? Now you are saying my aunt should pay for all that though she has a policy that also cover 3rd party incidents or claims. What CTU is doing is really unfair here.
