In December I was in urgent need of a board cut to exact measurements to fit the base of my bed. After calling many places for a quote, Thinus from the Montague Gardens branch assisted me and, despite it being an extremely busy time for them (no-one else had delivery available), Thinus went above and beyond to arrange for my board to be delivered the very next day. In this day of companies who really don't seem to care for their customers, I was touched by the service and care I received. Thank you so much!

I ordered boards waited for 5 working days.. Boards returned recitation charged due to wrong measurements. Promise to pickup boards on Friday nothing Driver lost his way on the 2nd trip.to us placed Boards collection on sat Told earliest delivery Monday at 12.00 by floor manager on duty ..we still waiting 15.25 What a waste of time and money. No apologies or communication

In May 2023 I placed an order for some cutting and edging for a project at home. The order was riddled with errors. October 2023 I placed another order for a project at home, again a nightmare with errors. Feb 2024 I placed another order for a project at home, again riddled with errors. On all three occasions I presented the company with a very detailed spreadsheet with sizes as well as sides to be edged clearly indicated. To make matters even worse, when you take the items back, the factory manager has to be begged to correct his factory mistakes. As if he is doing me a favour to correct their mess. Think very carefully before you order anything from them, you will be driving up and down multiple times to have them fix their mess.

I regret to say that my recent experience with Davidson's Boards Strand has been far from satisfactory. I initially approached Davidson's Boards Strand with a time-sensitive order, clearly explaining the urgency due to a tight deadline. They assured me that they could meet my requirements and promised a delivery date before I made the payment. Unfortunately, their actions did not align with their words. Firstly, Davidson's Boards Strand missed the promised delivery date and, when I inquired about my order's status, I was informed that only half of the job was completed. This alone was disappointing, given the assurance I had received. Despite my willingness to be patient and understanding, the situation deteriorated. Davidson's Boards Strand suggested a Saturday delivery before 12 pm, but they kept me waiting until 4 pm. To make matters worse, they only delivered half of the order, causing my team to wait at the site until 2 pm, incurring unnecessary costs and wasting valuable time. What truly shocked me, however, was the unprofessional conduct of their manager. Instead of addressing my concerns and taking responsibility for their company's failures, he chose to hang up on me during our conversation. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for commitments demonstrated by Davidson's Boards Strand throughout this ordeal have left me deeply disappointed. Their actions have had a direct negative impact on my business. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a wakeup call for Davidson's Boards Strand to reevaluate their business practices and prioritize customer satisfaction, reliability, and professionalism. Todaybi went to the Brackenfell store for the first time. When I came into the building,it was not busy,only someone at the cash office counter. No clients at the sales desk. I was standing there while a sales lady was so interested in her computer screen she did not even acknowledge me standing there.. I made a call to a friend and yet she made no contact. Her phone rang and she answered it not even looking my way. All I wanted to ask was if they will cut my own wood to size while I wait. I went to the Builders Warehouse in Cape Gate and they were so efficient they gave me excellent service. I will never refer anyone or my clients to go to that store.
