Bought 5 dozen of rolls. Took 1 bite and the rolls was so old. Took the rolls back and the owner and supervisor was so rude insisting the rolls is fresh and just being plain rude. Supervisor tells me I won't refund you your money. I asked her so if the rolls is so fresh please take a bite or even just smell it and she refused. They took that same rolls back to the shelve and another supervisor had to help me and gave me a refund. Just be careful when buying products by devland ols stock and no customer service

Innappropriate, victimising behaviour and abuse of authority by Senior Management on Staff. Yet there is no line of escalation to higher Management/ Owners/Board members.

Extremely bad service by a cashier called Aluwani at devland cash n carry devland , she disrespected me beyond and its happening ,she constantly disrespecting me .It started when I was paying my grocery, I did not pay the whole grocery that was in my trolley so she started shouting and telling the other customers behind me that I'm not gonna pay the rest of the grocer I dont have money ,she was shouting telling everyone like she harassed me n humilated me beyond , everyone was looking at me , even if i dont have money ,it was not her place to harass me like that n worse part I went to the manager to log a complain where she disrespected me worse she never showned any remorse she disrecpected me worse infront of the manager , she even said I must leave n never come back even used her hands to chase me away. it did not end there 2nd time when I'm going to pay in her till she literally chased me away n tell me to go to another till she's not gonna help me, I had to go around like stupid.that girl doesnt derseve to be there She doesnt know how to treat the customers, she doesnt have customer service ,there are people who want the job out there who can do better, I want her to be dismissed.

Sunday 02 April 2023, I sent my daughter to Hyperland for a few items and after paying, the transaction was processed twice. On 2 occassions we tried to get this matter sorted and I was asked to give it 24 hours, the transaction will reverse. I sent my daughter back there 48 hours later with proof that this transaction did not reverse and now I must suddenly go with a bank statement. I dont see why I need to jump through hoops to get my money back after this mistake was caused by them. Then each and every staff member including management who works there has a stinking attitude as if we as customers are being done a favour. I will NOT be leaving this because it has now no longer become about the money. It is now about the principle and I am out to prove a point.

Poor service received at Devlands Mitchell's Plain. I do my shopping almost every day. So needless to say my purchases sometimes vary and on several occasions the amount was for less than R50. Now all of the sudden they don't accept card purchases for less than R50. And what further frustrates me is that the Supervisor said it was always this way. I have proof that I swiped for less than R50 in the past. No notifications in store to this effect.

Poor service received at Devlands Mitchell's Plain. I do my shopping almost every day. So needless to say my purchases sometimes vary and on several occasions the amount was for less than R50. Yesterday there was a Tropica special where it was R100 for 2x10 which I bought. To my surprise when I got home the goods had expired and there was mold inside the juice. Firstly I don't understand why expired products are being sold. Secondly I sent and email info@devland.co.za and no has bothered to respond. I tried to call their office number and no one picks up. All I want is a refund, what am I going to do with 20 expired tropica juices

Oh my word , we do I start. I've never came across a store manager being so unprofessional. I have contacted Devland Hyper Epping spoke to the store manager regarding my chocolate mouse I bought the week of Christmas and used before the used by date which was the 2Jan 2022, and was told by the store manager Mr Allie to contact the Supplier as he will not be able to assist me, really. Because according to him I had to open it the day after purchasing the item in order for him to assist me, that you call bad customer service. Plus he hung up after I tried to explain why does items has expiry dates If I had to use it the same day or the day after... I'm so shocked for the way this store manager handled my situation. It's making me realize not to go back to shop at Devland Hyper Epping.
