I created a sub-domain, installed Wordpress and proceeded to develop a website using their hosting. Mind you I’m a first time user but have many years experience in this space having worked with Afrihost and going on to start my own hosting company. Anyhu I Made great progress the past couple of days untill today. Logged into the Wordpress Dashboard this evening to continue working on the site and I found that i couldn't work on the site. Everytime i try access the landing page through the dashboard i get routed to a coming soon page which is linked to the site builder they have. I checked file manager and i saw that they added a new index file called spb_index and tempered with the original wordpress index page leading me to constantly land on their SPB page. I did not ask for this i just saw it there without my consent. Firstly, why are you editing my files without my permission? Why are you forcing me to use a page builder i have no intention of using? If i had to take this up with the National Consumer Commission domains would not have a great time. I have great relationships with the people at NCC so i can take it that far if need be. It’s not a big of deal for that but I hate this kind of business practice. It’s despicable.

I have been a client of Domains.co.za since 2014, with a total of 125 clients, and I can honestly say that the support I receive is outstanding. The servers are fast, and downtime is something I do not know. You are the best in Web Hosting and Domain Reselling. Thank you very much for excellent service. Doep

Set up my first custom domain recently through firebase and domain.co.za's support staff helped me immensely with getting everything set up on my DNS records, really friendly and understanding support, I struggled with a lot of stuff that they kindly helped with.

Very disappointed on the service(or lack thereof). On a Sunday the whole cPanel license gets suspended because it's used on more that one server??? And no support whatsoever. I you can't support the hours that goes with hosting, don't do hosting.

Be very careful with this hosting company. They will ***** your card details. Then they blame the Gateway card processing company. Your card details will get "tokenised" and they can use it whenever they want to - to deduct money from your bank account. Your 2FA wont block them because when you made payment you clicked on a check box stating that you accept the T&C's . Be very careful when you make a payment with a card.
