My daughter and I wanted to become patients but after being treated badly by the receptionist we would think twice about visiting. After explaining that we do not have a Gynaecologist and we do have a medical aid she informed us to pay R600 EACH if we wish to see the Doctor, when I informed her that is a lot and what happens if one do not have it, she calmly informed me to come back when we have the monies. In that case Dr Mjoli will not be getting new patients soon and we would rather look for someone who still values the patient and not the money.

My daughter had a coper T put in on the 13 July 2022 it was paid for by discovery medical aid – Copper T and Consultation to have it inserted, on the 24 August 2022 we phone the Dr Faith Thembeka Mjoli to tell her it is falling out as it can be felt when having a pee, The Dr Faith Thembeka Mjoli (Springs) does not even have the time to speak to us – Her receptionist just tells us • Dr says you must come in she can take it out and put a new one in, AT PATIENTS COST…. • If you don’t have savings please go see your GP, who can remove it • It is after 6 weeks so not her responsibility. ( note is was exactly on 6 weeks, and we tried to phone the day before, she was in surgery) When we originally asked Dr Faith Thembeka Mjoli to put the copper T in, she refused to give us a prescription in order to obtain the Coper T from the chemist, she said we must buy it from her room cash…. I had to have the pharmacy phone her like 6 times to obtain a telephonic prescription, after she even told them NO – it must be bought cash by me… The pharmacy then also told her that’s not the correct practice. This is totally over using the medicals aid benefits – How is this doc allowed to practice like this, please advise whom I can speak to, in order to have this corrected I am not sure if it is safe to have a GP take it out, can this thing cause damage while not being attended too, as a Dr you should fix your own stuff not hand it over to another Dr, Let alone a GP.

Had an appointment on Friday. The last time I saw her was July 2019. On Friday the two ladies at reception told me I could see the Dr. once I pay my account quote " Dr. does not want to see people who do not pay her" This was infront of the other patients. In August 2019 I told them that my medical aid did not receive the claim and that they should submit it. I never heard anything again and thought it was paid by the medical aid but when I inquired with this morning my medical aid confirmed that they never received a claim from her. Her staff are rude and seriously incompetent. They do not do their jobs and street patience as if you are bothering them. They should not be allowed to work at a practice.

Very unprofessional staff and the Dr does not care about her patients. She put me on chronic medication and told me that for the re-script I should just phone the rooms and she will help. To my surprise her rude receptionist phoned me and told me that the Dr can't help me she said I should go to my GP for assistance further more she went and said there is no way I will be able to see the Dr instead I should wait for her outside the rooms at the passage and speak to her there. What kind of a treatment is that?

Met her when i was 28 weeks pregnant she accommodated me,had a complication so had to hv a csection bear in mind it was my first csection ever so i was scared as hell but during my csection got the best care and treatment from her nd had the smoothest csection ever.Dr Mjoli is just the best gynaecologist i have ever met,her work ethic and her care for her patients is out of this world.

Below is an e-mail I sent with my concerns about Dr Mjoli’s rooms, Evening Elsie I’m really concerned about the service I am receiving from the consultation rooms at the hospital. I came in about two weeks ago to consult with Dr Landou as a follow up to a CT scan that he requested that I do he then asked me to consult with Dr Mjoli on the matter because it would require that they work together in operating. I did as requested and Dr Mjoli gave me a date for the operation ( 4th of June) and since then the authorization process was done . Yesterday I received a call from Dr Mjoli’s rooms and the reception there was asking me if authorization for Dr Landou was done ,at this point I was not sure what she was talking about because they are the ones responsible for codes and making sure that all codes are included before sending me to book for a bed. The lady at reception then called me again sayin she was in the process of booking me yet another consultation with Dr Landou for the next day at 12:00 (she was not asking if this was possible as it was already short notice ) she then said she would call to confirm this booking.I waited for the call and to this minute she has not gotten back to me. I then called Dr Landou’s office to trace if this booking was made and to my surprise there was no booking under my name. I then booked for Friday morning because at the point I was not sure what the story was with the operation being half authorized. This is rather frustrating because in Jan I was in hospital and had an emergency c-section and now I have to undergo yet another operation and for some reason things are only half done . I just called in reception and they are confirming that the op is booked under Mjoli alone. Now I have to make means to leave Joburg ,come all the way , pay consultation yet again so that we can go through the completion of authorization documentation all over again. This is something that should have been done initially and now there’s a possibility of doing half the op in the event that Dr Landou is not available for the date selected. I am not sure how this will be resolved but I AM greatly disappointed to say the least. Please follow up on this matter ASAP and keep me posted on how it will be resolved. I am NOT willing to under go two separate operations on different days and can’t even defer this to a later date and have to deal with yet another period of anxiety. Since then the doctor opted not go ahead with the planned operation- this is now 1 work day before the operation day. This was greatly disappointing because one expects people to be more professional in Lifecare hospitals however we get disappointed over and over again despite the money we paid at these institutions.

this is for Dr mjoli's stuff, they called us to change an appointment we had with the doctor because the doctor would be on "leave" ,so we had to then go on the 13th Sept 2018 they said, but when we got there they told us the appointment was not moved and the doctor is not going on leave, we were so ****ed and they ddnt even care enough to apologize or to realize their wrong....she needs new stuff because they dragging her name down with their unprofessional behavior .
