Dunlop Tyres Worn Out in Less Than 6 Months – Extremely Disappointed
Extremely disappointed with the quality of tyres purchased from Dunlop. Less than 6 months ago, my husband bought 3 tyres from Dunlop expecting the durability and reliability the brand is known for. To my surprise, the tyres are already completely worn out, which is shocking for a product that is meant to last significantly longer. For context, my driving is a normal daily commute from Blouberg to Cape Town CBD. This is standard city driving — not excessive mileage, not off-road conditions, and certainly nothing that should result in tyres being finished within six months. Tyres are a critical safety product, and consumers rely on trusted brands for quality and longevity. Replacing tyres twice a year because they cannot withstand normal commuting conditions is simply not acceptable. I would like clarity from Dunlop on the following: • What is the expected lifespan or mileage for these tyres? • How can tyres from a reputable brand be fully worn within six months under normal use? • What quality checks or warranty support are available in situations like this? At this point, I’m looking for a proper investigation and resolution, because this experience falls far below what one would expect from a brand like Dunlop.

Excellent service from Dunlop in Westville
I have taken my car into Dunlop Westville on a few occasions for small checks and tyre repairs. The staff have always been efficient, helpful and kind. They do not make unnecessary recommendations, which is always a concern for me as a woman who does not know much about cars. The location is also very convenient.

Excellent service from Dunlop in Westville

Rude Manager
First time as a woman i went there to replace my tyres. I bought two Dunlop Tyres and paid first after they called me to come and check the work done. While checking i was chased like a dog in front of other customers the Manager told me to leave as he has other customer. He was rude, shouting and told me to leave he has customers. I wanted to check my spare tuyre at the back so i was being assisted but he said "what you want" rudely leave leave shouting.

High price tyres with low quality
Dunlop is a well known brand that is supposed to he quality due to the price. However this is the second brand new tyre that I had to replace within a matter of months due to bubbles from potholes. Quite ridiculous for the price we have to pay for no quality!!

Dunlop Tires terrible service!!!
Don’t even think of taking your car for an alignment. You will get it worse off than it was when you dropped it off! They will lie about refunding you too! Terrible and irresponsible service!

Dunlop *****ing from clients
This is regarding Dunlop zone Midrand. I wrote a review the previous week regarding my ****** money by their staff members whilst replacing my tyre. Dunlop did respond just to remove my review from the public but I didn't get any response from the company. I will be pleased if they can resolve my matter and not give excuses that their cameras are not working or trying to blame me that I wasn't suppose to temp their employees by leaving money inside my bag in the car boot. While I didn't give them concern to search my personal belongings.
