I have been a loyal client of East Point Rentals (M7 Investments) for 45 weeks, paying R2,350 weekly (over R118k total). On 4 Jan 2026, my car spontaneously caught fire while stationary—a clear product failure. Instead of assisting, M7 Investments is now: Demanding an undisclosed 20% "Insurance Portion" not found in my contract or the SHA Master Policy. Charging R75,200 in "penalties" for a fire I did not cause. Continuing to bill me weekly for a vehicle destroyed over 10 weeks ago. Refusing to refund my R12,500 deposit or provide the assessor's report. I have escalated this to the FSCA, MIOSA (Ref: 516115), and Parliament. Do not use this company if you value your savings.

I have had one of the worst service experiences with East Point Rentals, especially from their finance department. They never answer their phones, and emails go completely ignored. Whenever you need assistance, you’re forced to walk into their offices because there’s absolutely no other way to get help. I truly regret working with East Point Rentals. Their lack of communication, poor attitude, and complete disregard for customers make them one of the worst service providers I’ve dealt with.

I have had one of the worst service experiences with East Point Rentals, especially from their finance department. They never answer their phones, and emails go completely ignored. Whenever you need assistance, you’re forced to walk into their offices because there’s absolutely no other way to get help. I truly regret working with East Point Rentals. Their lack of communication, poor attitude, and complete disregard for customers make them one of the worst service providers I’ve dealt with.

This company has the worst service ever and not to mention the rude staff from the accounts department , they are very rude even on phone calls.I was there a few days ago and i laid a complain of which no one took serious even their manager is standing with them until i went to the sales department and i met a guy called Khalid who promised to call after making a follow up but its been 4days and nothing so far. I regret working with this company but now i have no choice i have to try and finish off my vehicle and get the papers ******* service at all

It's so sad because a friend of mine warned me but it was too late , after I paid my deposit of 15000 and months later I lost my car because I left for home as an emergency and I came back I was told I owe 17050 and I was only told to pay it in full on the last day when they needed it.It's from that particular day I believed EAST POINT RENTALS is a ****.Not anyone I know have finished paying their vehicles and all thanks to the account clerks who don't give you a chance to atleast talk to them and arrange payment It's like all they want is for one to fail payments.Shame to those ladies at accounts actually shame to the whole company it's a ******* **** don't fall for it

A lady called BIBI at East Point Rentals accounts department gave me the worst service ever .. The worst company to ever deal with when It comes to rentals , I was there a few months ago to enquire about my payments and weeks left to finish off my vehicle and she gave a number I don't know when she took from on top of my expected weeks....and recently I'm from there again to confirm with what she told me but again she is extending the time frame being helped by her colleague SHANAZ ...She doesn't want to account to what she told me previously... I even tried to look for someone responsible for the whole department I was told they can help me , I have to take what BIBI or else I leave They just don't want anyone to finish off paying their vehicles they keep on pushing you to a corner of failing.. My father had an account with them aswell ,all he did was to pay it off after such behaviour was introduced to him aswell The worst company and service I wouldn't wish or recommend even my enemy to face

I have never in my life dealt with a ruder receptionist in my life as Mpho if that i her real name, she put the phone down in my ear multiple times refused to transfer me to a Manager and this is for me getting my refund back, Imagine how the service is when you actually have a contract with these guys, i told the lady that i will re-look at doing the application but after this service i am getting and a rude receptionist who hires a rude receptionist i mean that's your shop window, first point of contact, i am seriously doubting on continuing with these people

I rented a car with eastpoint and the car was taken in, I called and they said they will get back to me. Now when I called them they told me my account is closed and I was not told. The amount now has gone up, they telling me I owe them R19 000 which I don't even know how did we get there. Asked for explanation they telling me the person who closed it is no longer working there.

Called and spoke to a very nice receptionist who transfered me to a sales consultant lady that was pathetic , clueless and doesn't deserve to be actually employed, lady had attitude from the minute she answered the phone and failing to answer my questions she hang up, if someone doesn't want to be at work they must resign and give other people a chance to be employed.
