I would like to take this opportunity to thank Shaun and his team at Eldan auto body repair for the stunning job they did on my car, Toyota Corolla professional. Thank you to Victoria Mmethi, my home girl who coincidentally happen to work at Eldan, for reassuring me that my car is in good hands and will be fixed. Lastly, to the receptionist who is nice on the phone and always updated me, thank you. To all, please keep up the good work. Thank you

On 3 October 2024, my wife's 20 year old car got sideswiped in Sandton. It ended up at Eldan Auto Body in Pretoria West. Initially I dealt with Shaun who promised me that they were not allowed to put 2nd hand, non genuine safety critical parts on the car's mechanicals. We eventually got the car returned to us 11 November 2024. within 2 weeks the "replaced" wheel bearing started to make a noise and the car had a vibration. Of course they were now already closed for the Festive Season. Since the new year I have tried on several occasions to reach Eldan by phone, to no avail. I eventually resorted to taking the right front wheel off myself, only to find that the R5000+ "NEW" parts quoted for were replaced with old greasy defective parts and conveniently hidden behind the brake disk. They probably only paid R100 for the part. I would not trust them to fix a bicycle chain and I hope that the Motoring Ombudsman has or will soon close them down. I will also be requesting Outsurance to remove Eldan from their contracted panel beaters listing. I have subsequently been forced to replace all the parts that were supposed to have been fitted in the first place, myself at less than their quoted price. This company is staffed by *****sters!!! You will place your own life in danger if you ever use them. Don't believe the few 5 star ratings on Hellopeter. Also *****sters.

I want to express my deep dissatisfaction with the repairs carried out on my vehicle at Eldan Autobody Repair Centre (Eldan Auto Body) in Pretoria West, which is an approved panel beater of Momentum Insurance. I had my vehicle repaired following an accident on 26 September 2024, and I entrusted it to your repair centre on 10 October 2024. There have been numerous delays and ongoing issues with the repair work. I was contacted at one point and informed that my vehicle’s battery had died and needed to be replaced, which struck me as odd. Apparently, they attempted to jump-start the battery, and I was told there was a strange smell coming from it. I am unsure of what exactly was done during this process. On multiple occasions, my husband visited the repair shop to check on the status of the vehicle, but each time, the work was not as we had been told it would be. Finally, after an extended wait, I received my vehicle on 5 December 2024. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the workmanship, as several issues remain unresolved: 1. Use of Second-Hand Parts: I noticed that second-hand parts, specifically pirate parts, were used in the repair. As a Momentum customer, my monthly instalments do not reflect as a second hand instalments, I figure the instalments should be for new, high-quality parts, so I am concerned and frustrated by this. 2. Scratches and Damage: My vehicle was returned with numerous scratches that were not present when I initially entrusted it to the repair centre. For example, the boot spoiler was scratched. 3. Unresolved Bumper Issue: The bumper, which was supposed to be repaired, was returned with the same loose panel that resulted from the accident. It was not replaced or fixed as expected. 4. Boot Issues: Due to second hand product it appears as if the boot lid is tearing at the hinges. Additionally, the boot lid itself was only partially painted, which is unacceptable. 5. Interior Damage: The interior panels of my vehicle were badly damaged in the attempt to remove them for repairs. 6. Spray-paint: There is a big difference in the colour of the spray work between the bumper and the car itself. I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome and the level of service provided. I will not recommend anyone to make use of Eldan Auto Body’s services as their quality of workmanship is extremely poor.

Very useless and unprofessional workmanship & service. Took my car to them after an accident last year via OUTsurance. When I collected the car the bumper and fender were not properly fit and made an awkward noise while driving and the taillight cover was loose. Shaun turned me back rudely until I called OUTsurance lodging a complaint. Shaun is very rude and unprofessional. Their paint started to peel off the bumper in hidden corners. Apparently no Plastic Primer was app**** and they **** to me that it was app****. Took it back to them to apply proper paint coats as paint is lifetime guarantee, they gave me a round around and got very defensive. Just discovered recently that they fitted pirate parts on my car where the accident occurred, the bumper had a crack hidden by number plate. Take your car to them at your own risk!!!! I don’t understand why OUTsurance still keeps these *****sters on their database.
