Poor Service, Late Arrival and Disrespect
We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from Electro Surgeon, particularly in how the entire experience was handled. Firstly, there was a clear lack of communication from their side. We were not kept informed about arrival times, and the electrician arrived late without any notice or explanation. This immediately set the wrong tone. When the electrician did arrive, the interaction was unprofessional. The attitude was dismissive and, at times, outright disrespectful. As paying customers, we expected to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, but instead, we were made to feel uncomfortable in our own space. Due to the poor communication, the late visit, and the overall lack of respect shown, we made the decision not to engage with the Electro Surgeon any further. This is not the level of service anyone should have to deal with. We will never use Electro Surgeon or Drain Surgeon again, and we cannot recommend their services to others. We hope this feedback encourages the company to take a serious look at how they manage both communication and customer interactions moving forward.

Pathetic service
We got Electro Surgeon out for a job on 19 February 2025 and they have been at the property 3 times already and still the problem has not been resolved. They promised to send out a manager to review the work that has been done but to date havve not delivered in their promises. Very quick to phone to make the initial appointment but after care absolutely disgusting. Very bad customer service. Reference: INV19127764

Daylight ******* - Stay Away!
Daylight *******! Call out rates and markup on spares are double that of other suppliers, perhaps the rate is justified as they classify their service as an "emergency" service, but 100% markup on spares is just ridiculous. I will never use them again!

The Electro Surgeon Cape Town *******
I called the electro surgeon on the 31st May 2024, requesting them to come in and assist with an investor that is blocking me from being able to load electricity onto my prepaid meter. They arrived on the 1st June the following day. My request was for them to disconnect my inverter from my DB board. Till Ito date my investor is still connected to the board, they replaced an earth leakage device onto my DB board which I did not request. The did not even spend an hour in my place and are charging me and amount of R 5603.86. I do not understand this as they did not solve the initial problem I requested them for.

Horrible experience, I pre arrange for an electrician to come out and assist me with light issues in my bar area and to help me hang a neon sign, the next week on the appointment they are hours late, they show up plot along for a couple of minutes and say there might be a light switch in the house that is why the lights are not working, then i have to help them figure out what switch it is, they did not do it by themselves, ok lights sorted. Now the neon sign, the sign has a standard usb plug, they were not able to either lay a cable for me or advise me on which adapters to use. The electrician said he will look into it over the weekend and come back to me. The next week , no word back from the electrician i get the bill 1,9K, absolutely **********, for doing no work. I log a complaint and the "manager" phones me to say that 1,6K is their standards call out fee, for what? driving from Cape Town. No please stay away, complete *******. PS i did a 10 min google search and found the right adaptot for R150 on Takealot.

Electro Surgeon provides super service
Thank you for the prompt response and professional service. Your guys were friendly, super helpful and professional. I also have to mention their diplomacy and professionalism for conversing in english to each other whilst I was there so that I, as a client, could understand what was going on with the job they were busy doing. It also just felt like kindness over and above the professionalism. Thank you again.

Electro Surgeon provides super service
Thank you for the prompt response and professional service. Your guys were friendly, super helpful and professional. I also have to mention their diplomacy and professionalism for conversing in english to each other whilst I was there so that I, as a client, could understand what was going on with the job they were busy doing. It also just felt like kindness over and above the professionalism. Thank you again.

Electro Surgeon - Expensive waste of time!
Company never informed about 1500 call out fee, broke my gate and said they would be back to repair it but never returned. Called them numerous times as well as email and have not had any assistance. Would not use or recommend the company to anyone. Paid for service that was never delivered and left in worse state than when they arrived. If you are seeing good ratings or reviews regarding the company, I would really consider the source of the review and compare with all the 1 stars seen for full picture. Company never informed about 1500 call out fee, broke my gate and said they would be back to repair it but never returned. Called them numerous times as well as email and have not had any assistance. Would not use or recommend the company to anyone. Paid for service that was never delivered and left in worse state than when they arrived. If you are seeing good ratings or reviews regarding the company, I would really consider the source of the review and compare with all the 1 stars seen for full picture. Disappointing service!
Poor quality workmanship and feel like I have been ripped off. Very disappointed that it was indicated to me that two people will come to complete the job as it was a two hour job and only 1 pitched up resulting in additional cost to me - NOT ETHICAL ELECTROSURGEON!

Disappointing service!
