Rita Pienaar - Disgusting interpersonal s****s and service. I am with a corporate company and called in to ask if we can assist her with recruitment, and she cut my call as I was speaking with her. DISGUSTING!!! No respect for other peoples work. There is a way to speak to clients and customers!

It is always sad in a service industry to deal with incredibly rude accounts personnel, who do not have the professional or social ability to handle clients. I raised a legitimate query with Electroc on one of their wrongly issued invoices, only to be faced with a letter threatening to blacklist us, (without obtaining a judgment, which is unlawful). The actual plumbers/electricians have been a pleasure to deal with over the years, but we will never use this company, nor recommend them, due to the shameful and poor manner in which clients are handled by Ms Ria Maree. What a complete disgrace this woman is.

I raised a legitimate query with Electroc on one of their wrongly issued invoices, only to be faced with a letter threatening to blacklist us, (without obtaining a judgment, which is unlawful). The actual plumbers/electricians have been a pleasure to deal with over the years, but we will never use this company, nor recommend them, due to the shameful and poor manner in which clients are handled by Ms Ria Maree. <p>I got ElectroC to do an electrical compliance certificate. After I paid for the work, they never actually delivered the certificate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They never call me back, and they NEVER delivered the certificate.</p>

<p>In November 2014 I paid them almost R30 000 to fix the wiring in my roof and to get my house to a compliant state. Everything that was done was based on their recommendations based on the assessments that they did because they are the experts. They cahrged<br />me to replace the old wiring in my roof which was R4500. A month ago someone got into my roof and they said that there is old wiring in my house which was there and is dangerous. I then phoned electroc to see what had happened and they said they will send someone to investigate I've been begging them for a month to please sort it out. They then came up with a story that it didn't need to be replaced. So I asked for my R4500 back but they are just full of stories and refuse to give the money back. Be careful when dealing with these people. They will never admit that they did something wrong but they are quick to take my money.</p>

<p>ElectroC assisted us with a geyser issue and were then required to return due to a continuing and ongoing problem with the same geyser 11 days later, for which we were charged separately as if they were 2 independent issues. Despite being fully aware of the fact that both invoices were with our insurer for payment, we received emails for these 2 invoices (1 was 27 days old and 1 was 15 days old), including legal recovery charges that were not linked to any real legal process. We were accused in writing of disputing their costs and trying to avoid payment, even though our insurer had already been in touch with them multiple times telephonically and via email to clarify certain information to ensure the claim could be paid in full. Considering we had a 16 year relationship with them prior to this call out, and considering that they had always been paid on time and in full in the past, and considering their invoices were in with a fully-communicating insurer, one would have thought that the professionalism could have been a little higher from ElectroC. Any business on an insurance panel is paid within 30 days and although our insurer didn't send these guys out, we fully expected them to be paid within the same timeframe. </p>

Came out to an unscheduled power outage at an individual home. They were given specific details about the nature of the problem and knew what was required before they sent a technician. They were told it specifically required a extendible ladder and yet sent out a technician who did NOT have a ladder at all. All he could do was test for power from the source - it had already been established that the lack of power was the problem. The technician left after two minutes but this company still charged for the Call Out as well as 1 HOUR of labour!!! at their already extortionist prices!
