We had a terrible experience there yesterday the 27th December 2025. The hydro spa didn’t give us the right massage we booked for. But what we received was good, they were friendly. As for the restaurant that was not good in any way. We waited 30 min for our drinks, then the same about if time after our drinks for our food. They said they were busy, although they restaurant was not that busy. We were only allowed to order burgers or toasted sandwiches. We opted for burgers. Well my friends burger had no flavour, it looked like it was boiled. She battled to cut the beef mince Pattie . As for my chicken burger I requested not dairy on the burger, they put on and then tried to remove it but there was some still on the chicken burger. I got a piece of pineapple that was not part of the ingredients for the burger. Bottom line the chicken was off. When we called the waiter he was annoyed with us for not eating our food and when we spoke to the chef the chef’s response was o okay. I have been sick since then. Our husbands were playing golf and needed a plaster , when I asked the receptionist she opened the first aid box with two containers I. Then looking real empty. They went on a scavenger hunt for plaster which a lady brought one out from behind the bar. The kitchen first aid didn’t have plasters. I then told the receptionist that should health and safety come do an inspection they would fail it. She didn’t respond or even acknowledge that I said something. It was my first visit to the facility and I would not go there again.

If I could rate Euphoria Golf Estate and Hydro Restaurant and Bar a -5 I would and it has been more so based on the way my complaint was handled rather than the complaint itself. A large group of 12 of us went to the Euphoria bar on Easter Sunday (20/04/2025) and we ordered quite a few Jager Bombs. The price of these drinks was not stated on the menu and when we received the bill, we realised we had been charged R100 for 1 Jager Bomb. This was the same price as most of their ****tails! I queried this with the staff and they told me that one shot of Jager was R40 and the tin of Red Bull was R60. Firstly, one Jager Bomb does not require a full tin of Red Bull and we ordered 10 each time we ordered so the tin was split between 2/3 drinks. Secondly, I have never in my life paid such an exorbitant price for a Jager Bomb. I went back the next morning to query this with one of the managers, who told me she unfortunately couldn't do anything but would pass it on to her manager. After asking multiple times for the general manager, Naphuno's email address I was not given it. I phoned Euphoria multiple times and eventually figured it out myself and emailed her. She repeatedly told me she was too busy to deal with my complaint. I gave her the whole week last week to sort it out and continued to email her asking her to give me a call. It would've taken 5 minutes of her time, and as a general manager, customer relations should be your TOP priority! It clearly wasn't. I have still not heard anything from Naphuno and she is showing zero interest in helping to solve this. It would've been a very easy problem to deal with if it had been taken care of in a respectful and professional manner!!!

This was my 3rd visit to euphoria between 2020-2023, I have had ok experiences where I felt there was room for improvement. On Christmas day the lunch was delayed by 30minutes and there was no communication whatsoever, our slot was supposed to be 2hrs and it ended up being 1hr 30minutes because of the delay. The food wasnt the best, I really dont k ow what happened to the standard here? Have they gotten a new chef? Consistency? When I later checked in I was checked into a room that had a leak, meaning the carpet was wet and we didnt know where the water came from, the staff really did their best to assist even though I was that one that insisted that I didnt want that room. and they managed to relocate me. Later we ordered room service, the food was terrible, presentation and quality easpecially for what you pay for . I know it is peak season and people are happy but my neighbours were loud, children banging doors screaming and playing outside from 21:00- 23:00pm,running up and down and when I called reception 3times to report this, no one was answering and I asked myself what if there was an emergency? then 15min later they called back and the guy I spoke to sent someone and when they got to the rooms, they were not assertive and I could here the kids parents taking over the conversation and when the staff left, it was business as usual. I was lying there thinking if I should get into my car and drive back home the next day because this is really not on.I am in the tourism industry, I have been there for almost 20yrs,I am well travelled,I know december is peak and crazy, I know staff is tired and they are doing their part. I also believe that if we are consistent and we do the bare minimum the team can go far.Customer will walk away seeing the effort. I really will not recommend this place and I dont think I will come back again. I love the area and all,It is beautiful but there is no order.

Bad food, bad service, bad attitudes. Played some golf then lunch, bad idea. Should have eaten elsewhere, waiter clueless no training, food mediocre at best, burnt pizza with inflated prices. 4 star?? Please...I have had better service at a 2 star. Never again.

I spent the past couple of day's communicating with the people From Euphoria via Whatsapp and e-mail regarding my booking for a day visit. I gave them the date and time I would be arriving and everything was confirmed. I spent my last money for this trip and drove for hours to get there just to be told by the security at the gate that they can't let us in because they have a golf tournament that started the day before we arrived. There was no communication whatsoever every from the estate. I called while at the gate and the lady at reception told me to wait till Monday because the Manager is not in. Honestly this type of treatment from such a huge brand is highly disappointing. The stress of having driven for hours and spending money for petrol just to be turned back when somebody could have easily just called of texted is a real inconvenience. I am very distraught and fraught by the experience and service I received.

I phoned ahead to Euphoria Golf Estate to go up to the cable car for lunch with my family. I asked the lady if we are allowed to bring our 19yr old doggie with as she is in a pram and if we can take her up with us on the cable car. She said we are more than welcome and on our arrival we were not allowed access into the estate. We had to turn back disappointed after driving far for this visit. So to all other potential visitors, if you are animal lovers and travel with your four legged children - delete this as a tourist visitation on your agenda. The Jordan the manager has no manners when I was trying to report the incident. Never again
