A three weeks vacation luggage was lost in Cape Town international Airport. Whilst checking in I paid for the suitcase and handed it over to the lady assisting us with checking in for our flight. Upon putting pressure on them to view the footage to determine how the suitcase got lost we found out that the luggage was untagged which was the responisibility of the counter lady assisting with checking in and stamping our tickets. since the 20/12/23, there was no communication between Cape Town international airport and I only Lanseria Airport is constantly communicating with me regarding updates and progress. I would like to express how disappointing and frustrated with has been. Sitting on a vacation with no clothes, toiletries etc and being told that untagged bags are placed in a cage where there is no cameras. I need this sorted ASAP or I am taking it further

If they are serious to re-name CTI Airport, they should consider a name like "Cape Town's worst disaster" or Armageddon when it comes to hiring a car. If you follow the signs, it will lead you down a steep ramp and up the equally other side to get to the car rental kiosks. If you have just come off a 30 hour journy, have a trolley full of luggage and limited mobility, it is a nightmare and nobody, including the half-dozen odd car rental companies seem to care. Who ever designed the airport should be banned from architecture. Architectural Schools can use CTI Airport as a case study of how it is not done. What about the Airports Company? Why have they not done anything about it? The message from the Airport, the designers and the car rental companies is clear: "***** you, passenger" or risk you life crossing busy road without pedestrian crossing.

I parked my car at Shaded parking lot for a weekend, upon my return I noticed that my car window was broken and my backpack was stolen with valuables stuff in it.Reported the matter to the police at the airport, was told that the cameras at the airport were not working (no footage of nothing).case was opened on Sunday and on Friday I received a message from SAPS that the case was closed.No compensation, no call from the police,nothing but case was closed after 4days .I was still required to pay R450 for parking over the weekend even though my car was still broken into.

The parking arrangement in the airport is absolutely disgusting. The first 200 parking bays are blocked off for private use apparently even tho you pay an arm and a leg to park there. Then after those "private" bays 1 car parks over 2 spaces. We had to park almost at the end because of this. An 80 year old woman had to walk the entire parking lot to get into the airport

I left my car in the care of Cape Executive Parking and left my key with the person on duty on Wednesday,12 September and picked it up on Saturday around 17:20PM . Upon my return I found my car dirty and called the person on duty to show him the dirt on the outside of the car and the shoes that was put on the back seat of the car. On top of that I found that my cubby hole has been fitted with a new lock and my car keys cannot open the lock. I called and was given the details of the Operations Manager as well as an email address which I emailed to explained my complaint. The first reaction was him laughing saying that he is the only person who can changed locks and he don't belief his staff did it- than I was given an excuse that they outsource the services of cleaning of the car and their bakkie is in for a service he would come out the next day to have a look at the lock. The day he was suppose to come out he called me telling me he spoke to his guys who told him the cubby hole was locked - which does not make sense as my keys do not work on the lock fitted. He was very unhelpful and clearly trying to shift the blame - no customer service at all. I will never use this company ever again!!!!!!
