Warning - Do not do business with Fivers or The Gadget Shop.
Exactly like others who have left bad reviews and warnings about these people, I too ordered an item (washing machine) online and paid immediately in good faith, only to never receive the machine OR the promised refund. I am proceeding with legal action and a case of theft. Their communication is atrocious and they have been ****ming people for a long time under various business names "The Gadget Shop SA" being just one.

This is a very very serious call on everyone that was done in by The Gadget Shop Be aware the The Gadget Shop has started a new sc(*&m site called Fivers and they are also deleting all comments on their Facebook page when making enquiries ... about two freezers that I bought on 20 and 22 Dec 2023 and zero communication received regards fixing the situation. The website is closed and they have moved to a site called Fivers now. Same sc@#@#m , just another name. A class action sue must be started and I will be the first person to join. This needs justice to be served.

****! Beware rather fund a welfare organization. Ordered 3 air coolers for R3000 on 1 Dec 2023. When not receiving anything I tried to phone and email. Neither rep****. Finally on 21 Dec I managed to talk to their ChatBot who assured me that I would receive my order on 27 December. Again nothing. All subsequent efforts to contact them via phone, email or chat have failed. The order is still showing as processing over a month later but nothing is happening and I cannot contact them on any of their contact channels.

I regret trusting them after seeing them on price check
I ordered a washing machine on 06-12-2023, but I have not received my order. I contacted them without any luck. I finally got hold of them via their chat, and they told me that my delivery was scheduled for 27-12-2023. I waited for my order and nothing happened and no feedback or communication.

Terrible Service
I've bought a washing machine on the 7th of December 2023. Till today I still have not received the washing machine. I haven't received any communication neither the order confirmation number. The following day the website was down. The contact numbers no longer go through, and I get cut each time I make a call. I spoke to a guy by the name of Sizwe last week. He took my details saying they are having technical issues and he'll get back to me. I still haven't heard from them.

Terrible Service

Worst Service ever.

Terrible service, You can not get hold of them as the telephone numbers does not work or just put you in a queuing system and than cut off. When you do get hold of them they say the item will be delivered on a certain day but never happens. This is really frustrating and irritating. How can you say you have great service if there is NO SERVICE at all. A proper contact number will be greatly appreciated if anything like this actually exist.
