My husband was dailysing at Botshelong renal unit,for quite sometime now.We've experiencing that the medical aid does not pay the service provider which is Amphath When we do follow up,we found that the unit was all along using the wrong calender.They were not using my medical aid calender to draw blood I ended being handed over to the debt collectors, because of their incompetence,and my credit record is been dragged into the mud.What hurt me the most was sometime last week when the sister from that particular laboratory said to o my hubby whilst he was dailysing.Sir the reason why the medical aid is not pp aying, it's because of the cheap medical cover you took.Little does she knows that our medical aid is the second from the best I'm paying R9333.00 monthly..Infront of the other patients where's the Doctor and patient confidentiality.My hubby was embarrassed and so ****ed at her,I immediately take him out of that unit.They were hurting him when looking for the veins,they would *****ly him in the wrong place moving the needle up and down looking for the vein that caused the clots and the fistula was blocked,he was not clearing at all the potassium was high as if he's not dailysing.On Monday he was hospitalised at a certain clinic to blow those clots so that the fistula will function normally.

I'm distraught and disgusted to report the neglect and poor service that your staff members are providing to us. My Wife has been dyalising for 8 years and yearly we are paying your Groenkloof branch in the region of R400k. Her catheter has been damaged and replaced too many times due to the neglect received from some of the nurses there and no one seem to care. On Friday 24 November 2022, Her catheter whis was replaced 3 months ago was *****ed with a needle and the unit manager advised that the Carter must be patched up using silicone. Notwithstanding the risks of infections. On the morning of 28 November 2022, my wife did not dialise for the required duration as her catheter didn't fully function due to the neglect and the catheter pulling in air. To get the new catheter 3 months ago, Work hours and money was lost. Now this recent neglect cannot go unnoticed and unpunished. WHO IS LIABLE FOR THESE RECENT CHARGES AND INCIDENT? Your response is highly anticipated. You have 7 days to respond to this concern. @ENCA, @SANEF, @DEPARTMENT OF HEALTHCARE, @HPCSA, @SA Renal society and all the voiceless South Africans which are going through all sorts of neglect from health professionals will know this inhumane treatment. As always Fresenius exeeds expectations! I have worked for Kabi till 2007 with Karsten W. Thank you to Mokoena Lebohang, Bobby and their team. When help was needed they went the extra mile. Professional, Friendliness and willing to help. Thank you what you have done and still doing for my mother in Moot hospital. Words can not thank you ENOUGH!

I can't believe how unethical people are in this company. So part of this company's business ethics includes fair competition and all that. But try to buy consumables from FMC and you will know just how unethical everyone is. So we have been trying from last year to get a quote for consumables from this company but nooo, apparently u have to open an account first before getting a quote. When u try to open an account u get told that we can't just open an account for u cos u r not one of the FMC providers nor a hospital! So fresenius is actually not supplying to anyone except for hospitals and their own units! Well at least that's what I rudely got from "Ashley" this morning when I called. I can't believe such a big and respected company can be such cowards that they even sacrifice their sales just to make sure no any provider gets the consumables, well ofcos to avoid competition. This is very dissapointing. And I suggest u put it out in public boards and website that fresenius medical care/kabi supplies for hospitals and Fmc units only. So that we don't waste our time with your rude sales people

I got to the unit at 6h30 only to be connected at 8h00 and yet when patients get to the unit late our session gets reduced to a 3hr instead to a 4hr session which proves why my blood results never improve. When I got to the unit this morning I realised there's only one nurse on duty to treat 10patients.

Got to the unit at 6h20 on the 31-12-2015 only to find the dialysis machine was not working,when the unit manager came she uttered words like \I'm not a technician"I felt so small and left it at that.today the 2nd dec2015 I got to the centre at 6h20again I found no patient was connected to the dialysis machine when I asked the 2nurses on duty they told us there is a trace of chlorine in the RO"
