Excellent Service
We recently approached Gate Motor Guru for a quote for a new gate motor. They replied promptly and were very reasonably priced. We proceeded to accept the quote and they replaced the motor for us very efficiently. They are professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent Service
We recently approached Gate Motor Guru for a quote for a new gate motor. They replied promptly and were very reasonably priced. We proceeded to accept the quote and they replaced the motor for us very efficiently. They are professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic service by Gate Motor Guru
Fantastic service. Arrived on time, gave us quote. Assessed the situation. We accepted quote because it was market related compared to other quotes we had received. Once deposit was made Shawn made the appointment. He arrived on time. Very friendly and efficient. He finished entire job in under 3 hours. He was neat and tidied up after himself. He observed all Covid protocols. Couldn't be happier with service. Thank you

Professional, honest, efficient and value for money service
These guys are a dream team! They arrive early, assess the problems transparently, not pushy with their agenda, super professional workmanship, iron out all the small technicalities without an attitude!! I'm also really impressed with their response time most other companies make it your problem these guys don't. For example, It was raining and they bought an umbrella. It impressed me how clued up they are with all the latest tech in this industry too. Excellent customer service! Definitely a company that deserves all the support!!

Extremely unprofessional and late delivery
I contacted a company named The Gate Motor Guru (www.gatemotorguru.co.za) in order to put a gate motor on my newly erected front yard fence gate. They told me they could do the job, however, the actual work was outsourced to a company by the name of Amalgamated S****s and Technologies (ASAT), without my knowledge. I received a quote and paid 80% deposit and was told that the job will be done within the next week. This unfortunately did not happen as every week there was a new excuse, ranging from wrong motors, wrong timing, other emergencies etc. This continued for 7 weeks with now solution. I contacted the Gate Motor Guru and a mister Shawn told me that ASAT is not part of his company and that he can do nothing about it. Every time I contacted ASAT they said they will come tomorrow, but they never did. It is only after threatened both parties with a law suit that I got a reaction. ASAT finally did install the motor 2 weeks after that. I see The Gate Motor Guru has afterwards updated their website to state that they are only a referral agent and not liable for any damages. I would advise anyone to stay away from both these companies.
