Totally lack of customers service .
I bought Popcorn from the local store GiantHyper that had mite inside it. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and out came Abduragman Kazie. While I was still explaining my situation he just rudely stopped my in the middle of my sentence and told me that he is talking now. Abduragman, how on earth you became a supervisor that deal with customers in that way is mindboggling. You should never get close to any customer, not even mentioning "resolving" issues.

While I was still explaining my situation he just rudely stopped my in the middle of my sentence and told me that he is talking now. Abduragman, how on earth you became a supervisor that deal with customers in that way is mindboggling. You should never get close to any customer, not even mentioning "resolving" issues.

Horrible service from Abduragman Kazi
I bought 5 packs of Popcorn from Giant Hyper Capegate that had mite inside it. I took it back after noticing it about 2 or 3 weeks after. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and out came Abduragman Kazie. While I was still explaining my situation he just rudely stopped my in the middle of my sentence and told me that he is talking now. Giant Hyper, how on earth you made someone like Abduragman, a supervisor that deal with customers in that way is really questionable . Abduragman Kazie should never get close to any customer, not even mentioning "resolving" issues. Thankfully ALL of our other products like flour and pastas is in plastic containers, or it could have spread. I didn't even know Popcorn can also get mite. We "are" now customer of Giant Hyper from the day they had their grand opening. I really hope 5 packs of popcorn was worth loosing a customer for life.

**** soft drink and bathing Soap
December 2023 my husband bought soft drinks at Giant and we noticed they were fuzzier and had after taste compared to the ones we buy from popular retailers of the filling station and I suspected it a **** and the packaging also. Today, November 2024 I noted our soap was lathering way more than it usually does and the smell was not there compared to another soap bought recently the smell is different. I advice you to be careful in buying from this place, great prices but I see why.

So I asked for the manager to ask if they could make an exception for today. To which I was told we can't help you those are the rules and he would be fired if he helped me. So I asked for the Owners. Two gentleman with the surname Kahn came down and further refused. I explained that I had never seen the sign before and asked for just today yo assist So I asked them why do you do this - to find out that they were not prepared to pay for a staff member to do those returns on a Sunday. So Mr Kahn I hope that it was worthwhile to stick to your rules instead of actually helping the Public that have supported you for years. When money becomes more important than helping your customer it becomes clear that the way you do business is not for the public but to line your pockets. I will never support you again. The amount of time you and your staff stood arguing with me you could have given me the refund for the returns. I am also a business owner so for me I cannot equate how what happened today remotely makes business sense.

Giant hyper amazing everyday prices
Cape Town based Amazing shop with specials all the time. They have a bit of everything and more! They sell loose and bulk. From meats and frozen goods to bakery and stationery. Cleaning products, containers, and a very wide section of sweets, great for business or for kiddies parties. The prices are so reasonable and sometimes even crazy cheap. They once had freshly baked croissants going for R2 each! Buttery and yummy, they haven’t repeated that special again but they always have loads of specials and most staff are friendly. On top of all that they also sell some imported goodies, also some short dated items which are clearly labelled if past sell by or close to sell by date.

Cleaning products, containers, and a very wide section of sweets, great for business or for kiddies parties. The prices are so reasonable and sometimes even crazy cheap. They once had freshly baked croissants going for R2 each! Buttery and yummy, they haven’t repeated that special again but they always have loads of specials and most staff are friendly. Rotten food
Sells rotten eggs. Bought 2 packs of 60 eggs for our bakery. One pack had 11 rotten eggs in, second pack started off with 1st egg rotten. Not the first time we bought spoiled food from them. This shop is NOT RECOMMENDED for supplying businesses because of inferior quality. Please avoid shopping here and buy your food elsewhere. No wonder they are situated in Kraaifontein.

Rotten food
Sells rotten eggs. Bought 2 packs of 60 eggs for our bakery. One pack had 11 rotten eggs in, second pack started off with 1st egg rotten. Not the first time we bought spoiled food from them. This shop is NOT RECOMMENDED for supplying businesses because of inferior quality. Please avoid shopping here and buy your food elsewhere. No wonder they are situated in Kraaifontein.

Opened Feta cheese
I purchased Feta cheese and when I got home I realized it was open and eaten from,when I called I explained to the lady that I was unable to come immediately because I stayed a distance away. When I went to the store they just refused to give me a new product. Highly disappointed,
