Disgraceful Service of *********** Staff & Director
My IRP5 was incorrectly submitted to SARS by the fund. I reported the matter to them on 22 July 2025 - many emails, telephone calls and NOTHING has been resolved. The director GG is copied in on emails - NO apology or response. It is the most disgraceful, *********** and unprofessional company to deal with. NO one is taking accountability or responsibility - but how do you blame useless staff if the leader has the same attitude?

I recently requested for my provident fund to be released, as I am aware that their TAT is 4-6 weeks, however a week later I received an sms stating that fund would be released within 7 working days
I recently requested for my provident fund to be released, as I am aware that their TAT is 4-6 weeks, however a week later I received an sms stating that fund would be released within 7 working days. After following up on day 5 (26 May 2025), I was then referred to a Johnny Khumalo on the same day, I followed up on email in the morning and unfortunately there was no response, I only recived a response the following day after I called in to be told it is sitting with the accounts dept and funds should be released by 30 May 2025 (the 7 working days have elapsed by now) Unfortunately funds were not released, and after having followed up on email again today to get a clear indication, I was met with no response. Having fully understanding the 4-6 weeks TAT, I would not be following up extensively had I not received notification of an sms informing me that my application is at the "tax stage" and funds will be released in 7 Days.

Poor service
I resigned from my company on the 19th of February and was told that my provident fund would be paid in 6 to 8 weeks , I've been dealing with a manager and then passed on to a consultant but the level of professionalism, courtesy and feedback is really pathetic considering I explained my financial situation to them but still no joy, I would never recommend GIB to any other companies or individuals to handle any of their funds

Poor service
I resigned from my company on the 19th of February and was told that my provident fund would be paid in 6 to 8 weeks , I've been dealing with a manager and then passed on to a consultant but the level of professionalism, courtesy and feedback is really pathetic considering I explained my financial situation to them but still no joy, I would never recommend GIB to any other companies or individuals to handle any of their funds

Your trading licence should be revoked, period.
When I read all these reviews, they are all the same, same same concerns. There is no need to even repeat my experience. Its more like your consultants are trained to lie to your customers. 7 weeks of waiting and only to find out nothing has been done, SARS confirmed that they have not received anything from you. Why do you treat customers like that? Is it issue of funds or you want to make more interest out of our money. You must just shut down because clearly you do not know what you are doing. My name is Francien and I was ****med but not for as much as they pushed for!
I was contacted by Henry? who informed me that the company Towerbridge I had invested a pretty small amount of AUSTRALIAN dollars in early 2022 is no longer trading ( under that name possibly) and they had found my name after searching for me to inform me that I have crypto currency to the value of Australian currency over $55,000.00. But I need to create a wallet where I saw the amount which they had topped it up. After trying many different wallets who declined the contact I was told to type in Phantom wallet which did eventually showed the magic number. Now it just became ridiculous because no financial institutions in Australia would accept crypto currency! So after many other attempts with Stabble etc etc etc I was given an address close to my home and told to drive there straight away as they close at 8 pm. I hadn’t driven over 4 months as I have Covid anxiety and panic attacks plus I am due to have surgery for my L4 a lumbar laminectamy in the new year. I am on extremely strong medication and really want to drive as I am in constant pain and the medication doesn’t give me the confidence to drive. They knew this but told me to NOW so it would all be completed before the weekend. I was knocked back by Travelex as she saw it as a **** as you don’t need an Australian currency loaded card to travel in your own country do you. I got a phone call to hear that I got the $ but I told her NO. Not very happy she was for sure so I said I will go to another today at another shopping centre and all this just before Christmas ( panic attack material for sure. ) I didn’t go as I have been giving them a good serve no not a ‘Karen’ and I found your site with some interesting information none good of course. I have only lost $350.00 and she could see my bank balances two with $0.04 cents the other everyday account less than $40.00 and a message saying they found I has insufficient funds. Luckily my daughter had been watching my bank balance and quickly added $100.00 to cover pendin payments. They still wanted AU$1,000.00 before they would release MY $55,000.00 they called the $1350.00 GAS money?.. But at the very beginning I was told the company had already taken the amount for handling, searching etc I asked will I have to pay any money before I get MINE. I was told NO,! Then another man came on line Luca I believe was his name, the lady was named Emma a Spanish lady, didn’t think Emma wa very Spanish either. My gut started to churn she was truely pushing me to go back to Travelex and tell them I was going to the USA she told me to take $2000.00 so I could buy a coffee and buy a beautiful dress? Me in a dressing room suffering from panic attacks on my own. So I will continue to live a wonderful life with my little Griffon named Louis Vuitton the closed to a Vuitton product. My granson’s sense of on the spectrum humour. That small amount could not have grown to such a large amount in less than 3 short years. So if anyone calls you about some money you have invested with Towerbridge write it off it’s gone and these people who don’t know what they are doing over 5 days of constant attempts lasting an hour or more even when I am eating my dinner which I told him I was enjoying and it of course went cold and I wasn’t in the mood after doing what I was told for hours?.. At one point I waited one hour while the system of another app was thinking. While you are pulled into this you just can’t think straight as you are forever typing in what they tell you to do. Only now that I know I am not going to get constant emails and phone calls I have had the chance to stand back to see the big picture ( I was an art teacher)

GIB INSURANCE BROKERS SLOW TURN AROUND TIME PROCESSING CLAIMS
I have a provident fund claim that's currently with GIB and its been weeks now without it being finalized. Every time I call I am being taken from pillar to post, I had a two pot application and only after waiting for 8 weeks I was told that the two pot has been cancelled because I resigned from my previous company and had to withdraw. So now with my two pot cancelled the delay is now with getting a tax directive for my withdrawal to be paid, this has became a frustrating experience that is unacceptable.
