Complaint: There is on going Construction on site that is very noisy and dusty that seems to continue 7 days a week from 8am-5pm. Compliments: I can say that the Nurses and Staff and Glenmarks Clinic are in a level far above any of the other places. They are calm, helpful, understanding, and generally a pleasure to deal with. I would like to highly recommend them to anyone. The Clinic itself, excluding the construction, was lovely with lots of room for patients to wander (Gardens, Lounges, etc..)

I spent 10 days at Glenmarks. Scared and not knowing what to expect I was pleasantly surprised. The one receptionist is an absolute card, full of fun and life. I found all the staff so friendly and professional and caring. It was beautifully clean. I was blessed with a private room. I wouldn't like to share a room. OT sessions were fun. Seeing the doctors every day was amazing. Things I didn't like was ● where we had to cue up for our meds. That wasn't personal. And more than once my meds were mixed up. Luckily I was able to check each time. ● The noise in the canteen is absolutely unbearable. Ppl are loud and on their cell phones. It is really a problem especially those who have anxiety. ● The food was terrible. The portions tiny. I did address the matter with the senior caterer. Otherwise it was the absolute best gift I could have given myself!

So I am an out patient because the hospital is super disorganized. I do my TMS( lab rat) and days later, I am confronted by management because I simply asked to wait outside for my son. Not disruptive or anything but Jared wrote on the higher management group so I can be gracefully kickd out. Gave this hospital an attempt again, but my stay is strictly for my TMS treatment that they decided to add me on. I adhere to their rules but Bruce needs to handle his staff better to be quiet honest. He gets his dogs to chase after us out patient that didn't ask from him. Poorly managed hospital. SISTER HANRI would have handled this 100 better than their actual management dogs. 0/10. Jared is actually the worst staffed management because he is a snitch. I work with customer service. 0 look at past reviews and see my lie

Worst experience and not a mental hospital, they are the same people that are supposed to assist with mental issues. The kitchen staff are fast at home sleeping. Sister Cele [Sister in charge] apparently called the security guards on me, to be physically removed from the desk because confidential ABC information. First of all, they can't even manage theor own staff and outsourced companies they pay and think I will redact information and use it to my knowledge. 2. SISTER AYANDA CELE and Sister SITHOLE Who are not new faces and will not be disciplined. Under the patient RIGHTS charter - enquire about the related costs of treatment and or rehabilitation and arrange for payment, the rules and oaths they take as nurses are not at all obliged to, because they are above the law. Also Patricipating in decision making- I was unaware of the cost abc . Another thing the security he told to escort me out was manly, combative and ready to fight with a woman, a man wanting raising his voice at a woman and wanting to use physical force to remove me. First things I wanna see Security suspended, and Sister Cele suspended. Or I will air Glenmarks issues from internal for the world to hear

I am not sure if I am the one attracting bad facility however this a brand new facility. I had a minor incident where miscommunication happened between the staff not giving a clear image of what my doctor prescribed. I don't even feel safe on th3 same floor with these ladiesn The first time around I was never told about liability, 2nd time around apparently I was told. However a Mental Institute is ran in a different way unlike a medical ER. So I had to make a payment, which apparently I agreed, however with all the medication we take, it is prone to not remember. I agree then later came to my senses that why am I paying a fee when the first one, nothing was ever explained just the instructions. Now I don't even feel like I am safe nor happy as nurses have this bad stigma they label patience and talk about them. Mind you, I sleep next to the nurses office and I heard about them speak about this, actually I am pretty sure the whole staff knows about this. I am in a mental institution for Help because I need it, however I feel not welcomed. Spoke to Nurse Sithole about this incident and she was sarcastic and said she will end the conversation because of her reasons. To be specific Nurse Sithole and Nurse Ayanda day shift will make me feel a type of way I cannot describe and this is something nurses and staff discussed. Mind you, the nurse was very sarcastic!! HARNI BOTES was very understanding and also explained the hospital procedure. But it is the simple principal, if it isn't psych related ask the patient to sign because we taken numerous medication that we end up forgetting about a lot of things. This is a very new institution for Mental Health, great but would do with better training of their staff. I'm advocating for people who cannot speak for themselves because they are scared. No one is better than anyone here Staff or Patient. The Owners and Higher Management has a say. What makes it worse I have an extension of my stay being processed, the fear of it being rejected by the stakeholders gives me a minor anxiety attack. Again this is for Growth purposes

Greetings Beautiful Mental Health Facility and Team. That's the first thing I have to say. Respects and is welcoming to everyone from All walks of life. However on the 26th of July 2024 after 20:30 taking pills per procedure, there is a woman on the 4th floor. Not at all African, threatening the staff and Also the people surrounding her, with racial slares, demanding a scissor ( Mind you it is not accepted at all) Also went as far as she will contact the Owner of the hospital because she is a very important individual who has friends In High places and also stated " Very Good Friends" with the owner. SCARY First of all we came here for help and do not need such behavior, secondly the entitlement she has is beyond disgusting. We have to be scared to be kicked out because she doesn't like you and worse she made nurses apologize for absolutely nothing. Stated the nurse harmed her and pushed her. All In the name of her being friends with the owner. Completely discouraged and do not think I can be able to recommend anyone here. I believe there are cameras everywhere, even in the room I am in, the insident is on recorded camera. Another thing? Visitors as I signed my consent are 4, some people are allowed more than 2 as per agreed and most a turned. Not really sure of the category or what exactly should be said or done by that. There is some biased, ********* security staff going on. I am writing an complaint on Hellopeter because i believe you carry your organization high and wouldnt want to fall off the wagen with a minor inciden, to the most highest individual in thus organization too. It's still a new establishment, and this is definitely not how patients should be greated in this place. Most of all we do not feel safe and I feel like she should not be in the same level as we are and should be isolated with absolutely no one because she can be harmful to anything which is anyone. Regardless of her sickness, we are also in the facility for help, not for medical aid to waste their money and resources. The kitchen / Food is a story for another day before being mistreated before my stay ends. But disappointed, I am sadly. Again, the nurses did not so absolutely nothing and should not be corned in investigation. There are cameras. You can use them for evidence of this complaint. Hope something is done about this. Thank you

I am currently admitted at glenmarks clinic in Durban and i had a very bad experience today during visiting hours. My family wanted to accompany me to the floor where my room is and they were going to leave me by the lifts, I realised there was another family that was doing the same and nobody said anything about that but when my family wanted to accompany me one of the nursing staff said only the other family is allowed because that family member that was admitted is drowsing. I don’t understand the reason because we are all patients and we are all unwell that is why we are admitted. When I addressed this issue with the nurse in charge all she said was that it was the rule. Which makes even less sense to me because if they could bend a rule because of a certain individual why then couldn’t they break the rule for me. She explained how bending that rule benefits this patient etc but I wonder how as a nursing staff they saw it fit to break a rule for a certain individual but not for me. The same way that they saw that patient would benefit from her family accompanying her why couldnt they see it that it would benefit me also as a patient and why as a nurses they can’t see how hurtful it is when certain things are done for other patience yet not done for the rest of us. All that was said is that they will look into the matter. No care was given, yet this is a hospital that admits depressed people. But the nurses today that were on day duty showed zero care about my feelings. Very dissapointing because I honestly thought i would come out of here feeling better but the treatment from the nurses was so hurtful and unfair.
