My wife has been making several attempts to get assistance to claim her provident fund. She has been making numerous calls to the HR office at Lansdowne head office, Cape Town. The HR lady Ustra has been rude and making empty promises to resolve this. Yesterday she promised to call back by never did and today we tried to call again but failed. My wife's name is Iviwe Mjacu and she was working at the Phillipi juxion branch.

Return Policy Pathetic / Worst Clothing Store!!!!! I bought two items for my kids, due to how busy life gets and myself being a single parent... I wanted to return the two items as they do not fit... just to be rejected as their ''return policy is 14days'' The Consumer Rights Act 2015 changed our right to reject something faulty, and be entitled to a full refund in most cases, from a reasonable time to a fixed period (in most cases) of 30 days. (b) any other right in law between a supplier and consumer to return goods and receive a refund. Where do they come with 14day return ALSO ACCORDING TO THE OMBUDSMAN (CGSO SA) Store refund policy ------------------------------ The above rules regarding refunds apply irrespective of the store’s refund policy or the terms of the manufacturer’s guarantee/ warranty. In other words, the store’s refund policy or the terms of the manufacturer’s guaranty/ warranty cannot override the CPA requirements, but they can go further than or offer more rights to the customer than the Act does. For example, the CPA only requires a supplier to accept a return if there was something wrong with the goods, as explained above. A store’s policy, however, may be to accept (for a refund) goods returned within a specific period and with their original packaging even if there is nothing wrong with them and the customer has merely changed their mind. The manufacturer’s warranty may extend beyond the 6 months provided by the CPA warranty but its terms and conditions must be fair or be brought to the attention of the consumer if they are of an unusual or onerous nature.

I came in the store early to take out my laybe and I did exchange and purchase few stuff but when I go till point I realize I have forgot on my wallet and I told cashier to hold my stuff i will be back. Then I came back then I was assisted by a different cashier Teshlene Jacobs. I explain to her that I was here earlier on and I was assisted by one of her colleague with regards to exchange, then attitude she gave me was so terrible and I did not understand where it was coming from and I even ask her why is she acting like- she rep**** and says I must wait for the cashier who assisted and move as she wants to help other client. I answered her said what about me and I'm not going to moved, what she did in front of me moved to other till point and called the client while I was waiting. I calm my self and waited for her to finish-then I asked what is going to happen with me since clearly you are not willing to assisted me- she then reply and said I must wait her colleague who is at back is busy. Then I asked her for the manager because really Im not treated as a customer here. Then she reply to say her manager is standing next to her at the other till. I was really shocked to find out she is behaving like that in front of her manager Valmarie Lewis- I even re ask the manager if she is really the store manager? The manager then rep**** and says yes she is but she doesn't reprand her staff in front of the client-then I reply back to say to her its about that its about her your cashier is treating clients, least is scenario you should have at least intervene even if you had to assist not to let your cashier behave like that. She then said she dont know what to do cos she feels like Im shouting and I said I was not shouting I'm frustrated even to the fact that you the manager. I've been shopping with Going Under Clothing at Parklands branch in the Main Road from day one the store open, It convenient to me but this treatment got to day was pathetic. Please take your Manager and cashier for training on customer services, clearly they don't understand how to treat clients.

I went to the gong under clothing store in Somerset west, capetown a few minutes ago. I took 2 jeans that were each priced at R150 and R130, however, on the rail itself, they advertised, 2 for R200. I then asked the runner what the correct price was, and she confirmed that you get 2 for R200. I then continued shopping and at another rail, the price advertised was R160, however, when I looked at the price per item, I saw different amounts. I then called the same runner and asked her which item was R160,and she confirmed that only 1 item from a rail with 4 different items. I then went on to pay. When the operator scanned the 1st Jean, she told me that the R150 Jean was now scanning R120 and the other one was scanning R130. At that point, I told her that the board on the rail showed 2fpr R2000, therefore, I should get the jeans for thst amount. She then told me that is not possible, as it could be that another customer placed the jeans in an incorrect rail.i then referred her to the conformation I got from the runner earleir, and pointed to her that the rail opposite that also had jeans and the board on it showed R200 only, and yet, the jeans hanging on that rail had different prices. So I asked her why do they do false advertising, her name was Sharne, and the Jean codes were as follow:669124 & 668160.She then referred me to her supervisor (Thurville) who then said she was going to look for the correct codes at the back office, and she came back with nothing, instead she called someone, assuming that was her manager of headoffice, and in turn, I was told, they cannot give me the jeans for the amounts they are advertised for. I was at the store around 13:20pm today.
