Jeep and Grand Central Motors are reputable brands, and I have been dealing with them for over 2 years. I am so disappointed with my recent encounter, my new Jeep had a breakdown and was towed by Jeep Grand Central Motors on 13 Jan 2025. I collected the car on the 15 Jan 2025, however my 2 car chargers, charging cables, USB music , and my seat masks were ****** out of my car!

Jeep and Grand Central Motors are reputable brands, and I have been dealing with them for over 2 years. I am so disappointed with my recent encounter, my new Jeep had a breakdown and was towed by Jeep Grand Central Motors on 13 Jan 2025. I took my vehicle to Midrand Grand Cental Motors for a diagnostic test, and a claim was submitted to my insurance. The insurance paid for the diagnostic claim on 01 November 2024 and I sent an email to Hennie ******ts, the Service Advisor who I had been in contact with throughout this process, to inform him that the car would be collected around 11:00. There was no issues with him or his service until my husband picked up the car, he noticed it was dusty and not cleaned, which is unusual given the level of service we’re accustomed to there. I emailed Hennie to express my disappointment, as this didn’t match their usual standards. Instead of clarifying or explaining that they don’t wash vehicles after diagnostics, Hennie responded rudely, saying, “Your vehicle was parked under a roof… it was dusty and waiting for you to collect it.” When I tried to understand his meaning, he dismissed me and didn’t provide any further explanation. Why would a service provider respond so defensively rather than assisting the customer? A simple clarification about why the vehicle was dusty or explaining their policy on car washing after tests would have been enough.

The car that I have attached a picture for is the car I enquired about on the 19 of April 2024 going for R 209 900 milage 15025 km. They told me the car was available and I summitted the document they requested from me. Two hours later they told me I was approved, They asked me when do I want to fetch the vehicle I said tomorrow I can be in Midrand. They said its ok they prep the vehicle, 1 hour thirty minutes later they phoned they said how about I come to fetch the vehicle on Monday April the 22th 2024 I said its ok fine. Right after 15H00 exactly on the same day on April the 19th 2024 they phoned they requested to push the collection date to Tuesday April the 21th 2022 stating that they thought they had the vehicle on the floor. I said its ohk. On Monday they at 17:21 they sent me pictures of a dusty vehicle also attached and if you zoom in you'll notice that the vehicle has 25000km on the odometer reading I did not reply to these as I have already started to enquire about another vehicle that was a year old than this one. When Grand Central Motors contacted me on a Tuesday the 24th I rejected their deal. Not only did was I irritated by the milage of the vehicle they sent me pictures for but also they added extras worth about R20 000. Mind they never asked me whether they should add those extras. When they phoned me I said thank you I have already found what I was looking for there was no transparency with your deal no Offer To Purchase, invoice, Podium sent to my emails. Three weeks later 14 May 2024 I noticed that they have re-posted the vehicle I initially enquired about which had 15025km after they have removed it from both their website and changecars.co.za. Now they are pricing it at R229 900 how amusing, (I have been observing their website and other car websites, theses guys are hypocrites) I believe this norm is a Gauteng province thing I have noticed and experienced such with both grand central motors and we buy cars. To whom ever it may concern at Grand Central Motors, consumers are now open minded all that they need is transparency, honesty and good service. I bet people from the Eastern Cape, East London are undermined at your dealership. The pictures that I have attached explains your manipulation. To every consumer reading this I would recommend SMG BMW Umhlanga from when I asked for a quote I knew that my deal with them will go smooth. Please go and read my review @ SMG BMW Umhlanga. I phoned Grand Central Motors JCD to get a quote for a 90’000 km service on my Jeep Wrangler. Now, a week later, don’t have a quote yet. Judging by GCM’s ratings here I’m probably better off going to a different American SUV service agent.

Until you buy car from them everything is fine once you paid the money no cares about you I bought 2 fiat doblo from them on 2022 and this year January o of it gave me problem While ı was driving it’s just cutting of the power and car doesn’t moove and I took the car for service they didn’t believe me first they took for test drive than they got stucked on highway than they believed me than they said they will check the car they will call me after 3 days they called me they said they couldn’t find any fault on the car they are still busy checkin after 7 days again they called me they said they will change the diesel filter and the pump waiting for parts it takes 15 days after 15 days I called them they said they change everything but car still giving same problem they will change injectors because injectors are expensive they have same dbl I that they are using to deliver parts they will try that car’s injectors and if it is injectors they will from Italy and it takes 1 month than I said okay after 1 week I called them again they said they tried the problem is injectors they ordered from Italy it will arrive after 1 month I said okay I will wait I waited a month than I call them again they said they change the injectors still giving same problem and they are waiting people to come from fiat head office what ever now it’s been more than 4 months no one calling me no one helping me so if you buying “FIAT” buy from another dealer not from GRAND CENTRAL MOTORS
