Shere Branch: The grass I bought from them died within a week, even after being watered enough every day. All the other grass I bought from other suppliers are still alive around the grass factory patches. The people that work there, behind the counter and in the yard are not friendly, helpful or courteous. They treat you like they are doing you a favour for being there.

Absolutely horrible customer service. You will see from my other reviews that I do not give 1 star ratings easily, this rating is well deserved. I was appalled at the attitude of their staff, they treat you like the dirt they sell. I placed an order and paid 2 weeks in advance because I needed to arrange from my work that I could be home to accept the delivery. A week before the delivery I contacted them again to make sure everything was still in order for the delivery at the arranged time. Not only were they more than an hour late with the delivery, I had to call them to find out what was going on and when I expressed dissatisfaction and explained how it really was a problem since the nature of my work does not allow for last min changes (hence the advanced order and multiple confirmations of delivery time), I was met with nothing but contempt and sarcasm. I wrote and email to complain and was ignored as well. This kind of attitude does not deserve your hard earned money. We live in the city, there are many other similar service providers to rather consider.

I'm going to give my honest opinion here sharing my own mistakes and the positives and the negatives. First off. I cannot give enough praise in terms of the actual installation. It was professionally done without any flaws. Everything else though was a mess. Their online system for creating quotes is confusing and don't think you can email them for any answers. It's an automated system which shows complete negligence in customer satisfaction. Most of my communication was done via WhatsApp. My initial conversations done by the person visiting my premises for installing new lawn with a simple automated sprinkler system was estimated to be 15k. Imagine to my surprise receiving two quotes seperate for MUCH more. For the grass installation and sprinkler system as seperate. The quoted came Almost 6 hours apart. My mistake here is on my own and I admit that for not reading the quote correctly based on my prior talks to the guy in person. If this happened in one quote I probably wouldn't have accepted the quote first off as it is unreasonably high. That I can accept. What I cannot accept is the installation of WRONG grass for my lawn. Kykuyu was installed for a lawn mostly situated under shade. This is pure negligence and cost me extra money to prune my trees. As a professional service. Not having any communication via email. Installing the wrong type of grass. And just the general coldness of the people I was dealing with. I would not recommend them to anyone else. Ide rather have the right decisions made for my lawn by true professionals and clear communication. And they are expensive. I feel you can get more bang for buck with other grass installation services.if you do use them. Make sure you do your own research thoroughly first as I won't trust their opinion. All my grass is dying so feels like a huge waste of an investment. Partly my own fault though

Last year we had 90% of our lawn uprooted and REDONE by Grass Factory and Eco Organics, to the tune of roughly R18000, which I thought was quite a nice amount of business. We were impressed, until I tried to get them back for a treatment this year. The person who did my lawn has move on and I got told that someone would get back to me. I had to follow up again a couple of days later and got given the person's number. I left a message but nobody got back to me. I called the original number again and got told someone would get back to me. I finally spoke to the gent who told me to email him. On emailing, I got told that the company was too busy and wouldn't be able to assist until the end of October, and I got referred to their landscaper. I responded that I didn't want their landscaper and I only wanted someone to quote me, and was willing to wait 2 weeks for someone to find a gap when they were in my area, but in the mean time to please book me the first slot in November. I only wanted to use THEIR products on THEIR lawn as I figured it would be a superior product . . . My last communication with Grass Factory was 15 September. I cannot handle being brushed off, and wish them all the luck going forward as clearly they are doing so well, they don't feel the need to deal with their past customers any more. From a less than impressed previous client!!!!!

Without doubt the worst service i've recieved in a while. Left a message for someone to contact me but to no avail. I then called them only to listen to pathetic excuses i will never do business with them.
