The application was thorough, complete and friendly. I just don't like all the extra calls for extra policies afterwards. If I want extra policies, I'll call you.
Worst courier to date. Been waiting on a package that has clear instructions about the time our office close, yet their driver ignores the message and tries to show up when the office is closed. I've even emailed them regarding delivery time too. Still no package. Been waiting for 5 days on a 2 day delivery.
Avoid as far as possible. Over the last year their Fiber in Garsfontein area has been gradually failing more and more. Clearly there's no concern from their side to fix. I went from once in two months outage to 2 in one week outage.
Atterbury branch is the worst. People rarely know what goes on in that store and they keep different business hours which makes shopping there a pain. Really closing at 12:00 on a Saturday. Just terrible
Worst internet experience I've ever had. Internet goes off for no reason, then will switch on and off continuously. When you report it, their staff acts like the client is the problem. Internet switches of at least once a week.
Checkers Sixty60 shoppers in Moreleta Checkers run through the shelves and pushes people out of the way. Doesn't say sorry and when another customer said something to her, she just said "Tsek". I tried to get her name but she just pushed that trolly faster like she was running away.
Sent my batteries in for repairs. Waited 5 weeks. On the 10th of January 2025, I booked my batteries in for repairs. After 1 week, I phoned them to find out what was going on. I was told that the technician that "worked" on my battery wasn't in and that they would call me back. They didn't call me back. I called the next day, only to be told that the contact person "Just came out of a meeting" and she will go and find out. Waited another 2 to 3 hours and called her back again. I was then told that they were still waiting for the report from China. After another week, I called only to be told that the contact person was in a meeting and would call me back, which she didn't. I called and was told that they were still waiting for China. By week 4, I was told that they delay is because of Chinese new year, even though my batteries had been with them from the 10 of January. By week 5 I finally got told that the warranty won't cover the costs, because "there were short circuits on the battery". Now as an end consumer how would you disprove this, you can't really. I was told to pay quite a hefty amount to replace the BMS on both batteries, paid it and eventually got the batteries back after 5 weeks. They constantly blame shift, are always in meetings and everyone else is to blame for their bad services. The major problem was that this is the sole importer of the Pylontech batteries, and they are giving Pylontech a bad reputation.
I had business to sort with Vodacom today and was helped by Ntokozo Nala. A friendly and courteous gentleman. Helped me with my request, had a calming effect, he wasn't pushy and has friendly demeanor. He is a great asset to Vodacom and his great service is the reason I will keep doing business with Vodacom as long as possible.
Had an issue where the wrong item was sent, but they fixed the problem after I informed them of the situation.
Bought a slimline dualpole circuit breaker. They sent the incorrect product, now I have to pay for return shipping and a restocking fee.
