Could Greenpeace unsubscribe me or terminate our agreement
I've once donated in Greenpeace S.A that time I was working, then after Covid19 strike the world I ended up loosing my Job and couldn't donate anymore and I did alert Greenpeace to stop debit because i'm no longer having and income and they didn't listen till now they're still debiting even though it's I less for electricity. My brother now is taking care of me till I got a Job and he sends me lil money just to pay rent and have Food, so I would like again to ask them to stop debiting because I don't have money to donate anymore.

Unauthorised debit order
Dear sir Greenpeace have been decuting my bank account with authority and a mandate and also I would not have agreed to R300 as I am a pensioner

Ever so disgusted with GreenPeace South Africa. I was conned in Centurion Mall by extremely friendly and persuasive staff to donate R300 to GreenPeace re Coal mines near Rietvlei Dam. But I specifically said to the sales lady, I would be able to give you a DONATION but cannot afford to sign a monthly debit order. She said it would be fine, but they do not accept cash, and she has to go through the form, take my details and swipe my card to get the R300. I then asked her; will it be EASY to cancel the debit order. Her response, for obvious reasons – no problem. No where on the agreement is a contact number nor email for cancellations. The mandate can be terminated by giving 20 ordinary working days’ notice in writing. I have been writing to the only two emails I could find on their website, I have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever. That being said – DO NOT BE MISLEAD BY THIS SO-CALLED NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION. BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING A DEBIT ORDER.

I got a call from a representative of Greenpeace Africa. He asked if I would be in a position to make a contribution of R100, to which I declined. He took this as an opportunity to ********ly process a debit order of R300!!!! I am unbelievably disgusted at the audacity of this company, this not being the first time this has happened. I used to make monthly contribution and stopped when my finances no longer allowed. R300 may seem small but it is my R300 to feed myself and my child which they helped themselves to when I explicitly said no.

Unreachable, no assistance
Absolutely no assistance telephonically. Numbers and department extensions go unanswered offering absolutely no assistance regarding donations and assistance with debit order information. Very quick to take money a a donation, but after that good luck in getting hold of anyone for assistance.

On Monday, 29 July 2024 your Green Peace people were at Dischem Brackenhurst. I would like to express my Great DISPLEASURE towards your staff. My Daughter, 27 years old, went into Dischem to get some things, I was parked directly opposite the door waiting in the car for her, when she walked out of the shop she was stopped by one of your representatives, after about a minute I got out of the car to go and intervein and tell him that if he put his hands on her 1 more time there would be serious problems between us. Once back in the car on the way home, Jade was telling that he wanted her social media ie Facebook information. Is this how your staff represent Greenpeace ????????????????? , ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING

GREENPEACE AFRICA STOP CALLING ME!!!
I have never dealt with Greenpeace Africa nor am I interested to. Never subscribed to any of their materials yet they spam call me almost EVERYDAY about 10 times per day. I have blocked them but they keep spamming my phone. I need them to STOP IT cos I'm on the verge of reporting them for violation of POPI ACT as I don't know where they got my details from. They are a pain to be honest, even if I was going to subscribe to their cause, now I WILL DEFINITELY NOT!! This is truly bordering on harrassment!!! They must stop harassing me!!!

Daylight *******. When they approach you, they ask for a R200 donation and make it sound like it's once off. When you agree they start setting up a debit order. They will keep debiting no matter how many times you stop the debit order with your bank. If you call them or email them, you will be ignored, just close your current bank account. Do not donate to Greenpeace Africa!
