Don’t do it. Genuinely. If you are considering joining, I strongly suggest that you request to record your onboarding session because they will go back on everything they said. This has been the worst experience I’ve had with both the service providers and the management of this establishment. They are dishonest and completely *********** at their jobs. They failed, and I suspect on purpose, to clearly mention the actual cancellation terms to me. I joined last year specifically because they offered a month-to-month deal. This was reiterated multiple times during onboarding by Savannah, and it was also stated in one of my contracts that I only needed to give one month’s notice to cancel. However, there were two contracts. One clearly states one month’s notice, and another says three months. What they do NOT include in the three-month clause is that the customer will be required to pay the full gym fee for those next three months. When I spoke to the manager, Sebastian, on the phone, he admitted that other people have complained about the dishonest wording of the contract. He even said I was the first person to actually ask for the contract. I am not surprised, it is incredibly difficult to get hold of them, and even harder to get them to follow up on anything. When I was told I am obligated to pay the full gym fees for the next three months, I asked to be sent the contract. I had to call again seven days later to remind them to send it. When I called, Sebastian wasn’t in, and the person who answered said she would pass on the message. I then had to call again three hours later to ask if he was in. He was. Even my initial cancellation request required follow-ups. They are impossible to both work andt reason with. Sebastian was rude and kept going in circles repeating that “it’s policy”, a policy they failed to properly relay to me multiple times: once during physical onboarding when I signed, and again in the contract where the wording is vague and contradictory. He claimed that I was called the same day as my onboarding by Musia at 17:59, and that the terms and conditions were reiterated to me. That is not true. I have no record of such a call. Even he could not confidently confirm that those terms were actually explained. He didn’t care to prove or disprove anything. He didn’t care that there have been multiple complaints about this issue. I even suggested that perhaps they should revise the wording of the contract to be more explicit. There is nothing inherently wrong with having a three-month policy, but be clear about it. Be transparent. Anyone who actually cared about accountability would have taken that suggestion seriously and apologised for the confusion. Instead, he kept repeating that Savannah is no longer working there, which is completely irrelevant. It wasn’t just her. The omission happened throughout the entire onboarding process. I’m writing this because I am regretful and shocked by the lack of accountability and manipulation that I endured. If they are this difficult to deal with over something as basic as cancellation terms, I can only imagine how they operate in other areas. Proceed with caution.

I was a member of the gym .every month I paid my fees around the 27 th of each month via eft.but when I went to use the gym I was blocked for non payment because their debit order came off on the 1st of the month .they proceeded to unblock me so that I could gym and said they will accept my eft on the 27th The following month the exact same thing happened and again I was blocked for non payment even tho I paid via eft..again they unblocked me and said they will rectify it . The following month .again I paid via eft and when I went to gym..again I was blocked for non payment. I decided right there to cancel my contract due to the fact that I always got blocked for non payment..my contract was a month to month so I had given them a months notice for cancellation The gym contacted me and informed me that I owed 3 months gym fees because I had canceled which I think is ridiculous. It was a month to month and I cancelled because of their negligence not because I wasn't making payment..now I have been blacklisted because of their negligence or because they cannot manage payments correctly which I believe is totally unfair .I refuse to pay the 3 months for a month to month just because I canceled due to them

I told the sales person that I want to sign up for a 3 month contract, pay for the 3 months cash as I was working on a project for that time in Randburg. I paid the cash and was aussred that no funds will be deducted from my bank accouint and they just need my bank details as part of the applicati9on and they can't process the application without it, not allowed. Now for the last 2 months they keep on deducting money from my bank account without authorization or approval. When contacting them they say I signed up for a month to month contract and have to pay and they will not refund any money, even after double deducting money from my account. I explicitely asked the sales consultant about the debits and the 3 months, they signed me up and I cancelled on the same day to be able to pay 3 months cash for the gym. The company is a ripp off, stay away, the equipment is old in any case, not worth the frustration.

feel compelled to warn others about the dishonest tactics used by Gym Company Bromhof. I was misled into signing what I believed were month-to-month contracts for myself and my son. Even though I completed 3 cancellation forms within the first 5 days that they made me sign their papers they just kept pretending that they did not get my cancelation and they are still continuing continued billing for my son's, despite all documentation and communication. The manager was incredibly rude, kept hiding in his office and would not come out to speak to me, would not sign my cancellation letter as proof that I was there to cancel within the first 5 days, shouted at me that I was not a lawyer and that he did not have to sign anything he did not want to and even shouted at me, telling me not to believe the reviews on HelloPeter — but now I understand exactly why those warnings exist. This company thrives on confusion, fine print, and bullying tactics to trap people into long-term payments they never agreed to. They come across as helpful at first, but once you're signed up, it's a nightmare to get out. In my experience, this was nothing short of *****. They will do everything they can to keep taking your money. Don't get caught like I did! Read the fine print, trust your instincts, and stay far away from Gym Company Bromhof.

I took out a gym membership for myself and a friend at Boskruin gym .This contract was for myself and a friend. My friend only went once due to circumstances beyond her limit. The sales person nicknamed MO said if you cancell within 3 months ,you won't be charged any cancelation fees. I have proof of cancelation .I spoke to Aliea at reception and she said write your request on a piece of paper as that accountant is not at the gym.I did so on the 4th of March.I have proof of this.I was told by the accountant that I can't cancel my friends gym .The south African law says I can as I am paying for it. Well today they are still trying to debit my account which costs me R200 bank charges. Ricky Nduduzo refuses to acknowledge this dilemma. I will write to the obasman and go to the court. They are very quick to take your money

Canceling with Gym company at Bromhof is impossible and frustrating. When you come in the manager never there and admin people don't allow you to cancel your contract which is a month to month they say only the manager can help you . When you get hold of the manager Ricky he tells you to contact the same administrator who told you to contact him . Every time I came to gym to cancel I was not assisted and admin people always gone for lunch just a waste of time and energy. I went to stop the debit order thinking I would be done with them but no they keep on changing the reference number so I would be kept getting debited ! It's a death contract . I even tried to freeze my account before cancellation, sign forms and everything's just to be told I'm not allowed to because of studies. I feel trapped in contract that I can't get out of even if I give notice and have contacted gym company on many occasions and never been assisted or had a call back
